Nothing has yet to make an official announcement for an event set for March 4th, 2025, where it is anticipated that they will launch the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Plus. These forthcoming devices have been the focus of many leaks and certifications, and now, significant specifications and features have emerged, providing us with a better understanding of what we can look forward to.
Leaked Specs of the Nothing Phone (3a)
According to information shared by @gadget_bits on X, the Phone (3a) is expected to come with a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that boasts a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It will be driven by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. This 4nm processor will work alongside up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone will operate on Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.1, ensuring a sleek and customizable user interface.
Camera Features and Upgrades
When it comes to photography, the Phone (3a) is likely to have a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera. Although the ultra-wide camera drops from the Phone (2a)’s previous 50MP sensor, the inclusion of a telephoto lens is a significant improvement. The front-facing camera is expected to retain a 32MP sensor. Conversely, the Phone (3a) Plus might feature a periscope telephoto camera, as previously speculated.
Battery and Connectivity
Additionally, the device is set to include a robust 5000mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. Connectivity options are expected to consist of 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. The distinctive glyph lights on the back will return, enhancing the unique design style of Nothing phones.
The launch has been confirmed via a microsite on Flipkart and the Nothing.tech India website, which leads users to Flipkart. The URL for the Flipkart page also verifies that the device launching on February 4 is indeed the Nothing Phone (3a).
