This means that these devices will come pre-loaded with Android 15 and will receive OS updates until Android 18, along with security updates lasting until 2031.

In contrast to the Phone (2a), which was launched with Android 14 and is set to receive 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security patches, Nothing has increased the length of security updates but has kept the number of OS upgrades the same. When measured against competing models, the Nothing Phone (3a) series falls behind.
