Earlier this month, Samsung introduced the Galaxy A15 5G in Southeast Asia, alongside the Galaxy A25 5G. Now, the company has announced the availability of these budget-friendly 5G smartphones in India.
Samsung Galaxy A15 5G Specifications
The Galaxy A15 5G features Samsung's signature design, with vertically aligned cameras and a flat frame. It also comes with a new 'key island' for buttons on the side. The device is built around a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a dewdrop notch, offering a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels (FHD+). It boasts a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of 800 nits.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A15 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset and runs on the Android 14-based One UI 6 software. It is equipped with a 13MP selfie camera and a triple camera system on the back. The rear setup consists of a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultrawide unit, and a 5MP macro snapper.
In terms of connectivity, the handset supports dual SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, and USB Type-C. It also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, a MicroSD card slot, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W charging.
