On June 25, Motorola is set to host a launch event in China to unveil the Motorola Razr 50 series of flip-style foldable phones. During the same event, the company will also introduce the Motorola S50 Neo, a mid-range smartphone that is expected to be rebranded as the Moto G85 for markets outside China. The S50 Neo recently received certification from TENAA, revealing its key specifications. The same device has now also been approved by the 3C certification platform in China, providing insight into its fast charging capabilities.

As per the TENAA certification, the Motorola S50 Neo will feature a 6.6-inch OLED display with curved edges, offering an FHD+ resolution and potentially supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will include an in-screen fingerprint sensor for added security and is expected to run on Android 14.
Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by either the Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. In the Chinese market, it will be available with up to 18 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. It is also expected to house a 5,000mAh battery.
For photography, the Motorola S50 Neo will sport a 32-megapixel front camera and a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor. The device will measure 161.9 x 73 x 7.5 mm and weigh 171 grams. It will be available in black, blue, and green color options.
