Lenovo has introduced two new additions to its ThinkPlus charging lineup, targeting the Chinese market. These chargers, part of the "Light and Shadow" series, are engineered to charge multiple devices at once.
The initial model features a four-port configuration with two USB-C and two USB-A ports. With a maximum output of 100W, Lenovo claims it can fully charge a ThinkBook 14 G6 laptop in under an hour and fifteen minutes.
Versatile Charging Capabilities
Although primarily designed for laptops, the charger's compatibility with various charging protocols allows it to power a wide array of devices, including smartphones, gaming handhelds, and other accessories.
The second charger comes with a three-port setup, including two USB-C and one USB-A port. This model delivers a more substantial output, maxing out at 140W. According to Lenovo, it can charge an Apple MacBook Pro 14 in about 74 minutes. Like its 100W counterpart, this charger supports multiple charging standards, making it suitable for a diverse range of devices.
Advanced Technology and Safety Features
Both chargers utilize GaN technology, contributing to their compact and portable design. The inclusion of folding prongs further enhances their suitability for travel. Lenovo has also incorporated multiple safety features to protect devices during charging.
The four-port 100W charger is priced at CNY 249, while the three-port 140W model is available for CNY 369. Currently, these chargers are exclusive to the Chinese market, with no confirmed plans for global release. For those looking for similar options, the UGREEN Nexode 140W power adapter is a potential alternative.
Lenovo has yet to announce a specific timeline for the possible international availability of these ThinkPlus chargers.
