Redmi Note 13 Series Set to Launch in India on January 4
Xiaomi has officially announced that the Redmi Note 13 series will be making its way to India on January 4. This comes after the initial debut of the series in China back in September. While the original models did not include 4G options, reports have been circulating about the release of LTE variants.
Specs of Redmi Note 13 4G Series Revealed
According to a source, the specifications of the Redmi Note 13 4G series have been unveiled. Let's take a closer look at the details.
Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G
The Redmi Note 13 4G lineup will include two phones that are exclusively 4G. These devices will be known as the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro, without the 5G moniker at the end of their names.
In terms of specifications, these devices will be very similar to their predecessors, with the main changes being the primary camera for both models and the chip for the pro variant.
Impressive Display and Performance
Both the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro are expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The display will offer a maximum resolution of FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The standard version will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chip, while the pro model is rumored to house an unknown MediaTek SoC, potentially the Helio G99 chipset.
Memory and Camera Upgrades
The Redmi Note 13 series will come with MIUI 14 based on Android 13. In terms of memory configurations, both models will be available in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants.
Both devices are expected to feature a triple-camera system, including an 8MP ultrawide unit and a 2MP sensor for either depth or macro photography. The main camera on the standard version is said to be a 108MP sensor, while the pro variant will feature a 200MP sensor. This is an upgrade from the 50MP and 108MP sensors found in their predecessors, respectively.
Connectivity and Additional Features
The Redmi Note 13 series will come with essential connectivity options such as dual SIM support, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and USB Type-C. Additionally, they will include a 3.5mm headphone jack and will be available in at least two colors, purple and green.
Lastly, the Redmi Note 13 Pro will be slightly lighter, weighing in at 187g compared to the Redmi Note 13's 188.5g weight.
With the launch of the Redmi Note 13 4G series in India just around the corner, Xiaomi fans can look forward to an upgraded camera system, powerful performance, and a vibrant display.
