Leaked Apple iPhone SE 4 Dummy Unit Reveals iPhone 4-Like Design

The iPhone SE 4 is shaping up to be a great value option for buyers in 2025. In recent months, we’ve seen various rumors and reports about this budget-friendly iPhone. The latest information comes from new dummy renders that showcase design specifics. It seems that the upcoming SE 4 might take inspiration from an older Apple iPhone, so let’s dive into the details.

A Nod to the Past

The new iPhone SE 4, developed by the tech giant in Cupertino, was recently seen in a fresh leak shared by tipster Sonny Dickson on the platform X (previously known as Twitter). The tweet displays the back of the smartphone in two color options and also shows its side profile. While there have been several speculations about Apple equipping it with only a single camera on the back, it’s the design that really stands out to me.

At first sight, the iPhone SE 4 brings back memories of a smartphone from almost 15 years ago. The original iPhone 4 was launched in June 2010, and the iPhone SE 4 appears to be a contemporary version of that model. Some comparisons have even been made to the Google Nexus 5, which seems reasonable as well. The dummy units feature a flat glass back but come with soft, rounded edges.

Premium Build and Specs

On the flip side, the frame around the edges is made of metal, giving it a more premium feel. You can also spot the volume buttons and alert slider, along with the SIM card slot. From what we’ve gathered, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to be priced below $500, thanks to Apple’s tailored 5G model. Recent leaks have also revealed some key specifications: it’s rumored to have a 6.06-inch LCD display, an A18 chipset, a 48MP Sony Exmor IMX904 camera on the back, and a 12MP front-facing camera.
