LG has recently introduced its latest laptop series, the LG Gram Pro, which incorporates advanced AI technology. This series includes two models, the standard version, and the versatile LG Gram Pro 360, which aims to offer users a wide range of options.
LG Gram Pro 360 series specs
The notebooks in the LG Gram Pro series are equipped with Intel Core Ultra 7 processors, along with a dedicated neural processing unit for AI-Boost. This integration enables the laptop to carry out autonomous AI operations without the need for a network connection, thereby enhancing the overall functionality of the device.
AI Gram Link function
One notable feature of the series is the introduction of the AI Gram Link function, which enables seamless file sharing with up to 10 Android and iOS devices. Moreover, users have the ability to control their mobile phones and tablets using the keyboard and mouse of the LG Gram Pro notebook, thereby improving convenience and connectivity.
Graphics options and display
Users can choose to have the Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics card with 4GB GDDR6 video memory in their LG Gram Pro laptop. The collaboration with an AI image generation program reportedly allows the graphics card to achieve 5 images per second. The series also boasts a WQXGA+ (2880 x 1800) resolution display with a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz.
LG Gram Pro 16-inch version
The 16-inch version of the LG Gram Pro, which includes the built-in RTX 3050 graphics card, maintains a slim profile with a thickness of only 12.4mm, making it 21% thinner than its predecessor. With a weight of just 1.19 kg, it combines a lightweight design with practical features such as dual fans and a 58% increase in heat pipe area.
LG Gram Pro 360
The LG Gram Pro 360 is a 2-in-1 variant that follows the same lightweight design philosophy as its counterparts. It measures 12.4mm in thickness and weighs 1.39 kg. The device features a touch screen and comes with a dedicated stylus that supports wireless charging, providing users with added convenience.
Pricing and availability
The pricing for the LG Gram Pro series varies based on screen size, graphics card, and memory specifications. The standard LG Gram Pro is priced between 2.54 million won ($1,958) and 3.34 million won ($2,574), while the LG Gram Pro 360 falls between 2.74 million won ($2,112) and 3.19 million won ($2,459). Pre-orders for these laptops in South Korea are scheduled to begin from the 2nd to the 15th of the upcoming month.
