Imminent Launch of Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 and Galaxy XCover 7 Confirmed by Bluetooth SIG

After a long wait of more than 3 years, Samsung is finally ready to launch its new affordable smart band, the Galaxy Fit 3. The launch of the Galaxy Fit 3 seems imminent based on recent public certification listings and leaks. In addition, the Galaxy Fit 3 has made an appearance on Bluetooth SIG, along with the upcoming rugged smartphone, the Galaxy XCover 7.

According to the Bluetooth SIG listing, both the new smartphone and the Galaxy Smartwatch will feature Bluetooth 5.3. However, there is very limited information available regarding the specifications of these devices.

Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 Specifications (Expected)

Although there is no official confirmation yet, a recent leak suggests that the Galaxy Fit 3 will be launched in the first half of 2024. It is expected to be released months before the Galaxy Watch 7 lineup, but there won't be any special event to mark its launch. The smartwatch is rumored to come with an OLED display slightly larger than its predecessor and will offer features such as sleep tracking and heart rate monitoring. It will also include GPS, accelerometer, gyro sensor, and other sensors.

The Galaxy Fit 3 fitness band is expected to be available in three different colors: Grey, Gold, and Black.

Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Specifications (Expected)

On the other hand, the Galaxy XCover 7 is expected to succeed the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro. The new smartphone has already been certified by BIS India and GCF with the model number SM-G556B. It is rumored to be equipped with the Snapdragon 778G SoC for 5G connectivity and will have NFC. The Galaxy XCover 7 will feature a 4050 mAh battery.

The Galaxy X series from Samsung is well-known for its ruggedness, and the XCover 7 will continue this trend. It is expected to provide better grip and shock absorption with its grooved back panel. The smartphone will be MIL-STD-810H compliant and will offer IP68 dust and water protection.

Recently, the smartphone was spotted on Geekbench, featuring the Dimensity 6100 Plus SOC and 8GB of RAM. It will come with Android 14 out of the box. The launch of the Galaxy XCover 7 is expected to be near, and it could be priced around $599.

In conclusion, Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Fit 3, an affordable smart band, and the Galaxy XCover 7, a rugged smartphone. While the specifications of these devices are still mostly unknown, leaks and certifications suggest that both products are on the horizon. Samsung fans can look forward to the launch of these exciting new gadgets in the near future.
