HONOR is gearing up for the global release of its Magic V3 foldable smartphone. Initially launched in China, the global version has surfaced on Geekbench, disclosing several important specifications.

The global variant of the HONOR Magic V3, recognized by the model number FCP-N49, has been found on Geekbench. The listing confirms it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, an octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 3.30GHz. The device will include 12GB of RAM and an Adreno 750 GPU. Additionally, the HONOR Magic V3 will run on Magic OS 8.0, based on Android 14.

Performance and Certifications

The smartphone achieved scores of 1914 points in single-core and 5354 points in multi-core tests. It has also obtained IMDA and TDRA certifications, suggesting that the brand intends to introduce it in Singapore and the UAE. Moreover, it is confirmed that the device will also be launched in European markets.

Honor Magic V3 Specifications

The Chinese version of the Honor Magic V3 features a 6.43-inch main display with curved edges and FHD+ resolution, alongside a 7.92-inch internal display with a resolution of 2,344 x 2,156 pixels. Both screens support a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, and are stylus-compatible. The peak brightness is 5,000 nits, although it’s unclear if this applies to both displays. It includes an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button and boasts a 7-series aluminum alloy frame. The device has an IPX8 certification, ensuring water resistance up to 2.5 meters.

For camera enthusiasts, the Honor Magic V3 comes with a triple rear camera setup: a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 40MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 100x digital zoom and OIS. The device also features a 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls, accessible on both the internal and external screens. A Harcourt portrait mode is expected to be available in August.

Under the hood, the device is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, offering up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It includes a titanium heat dissipation system and is powered by a 5,150mAh battery that supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.
