Google Pixel 8a Specs Leaked in PDF, Price Confirmed

Google is facing challenges in keeping its upcoming devices under wraps, especially the Pixel 8a slated for launch during Google I/O 2024. The latest leaks reveal detailed specifications and pricing for the device in the European market.

Tipster MysteryLupin shared the Pixel 8a spec sheet on X, shedding light on what we already knew about the phone.

Pixel 8a Specifications

The Pixel 8a features a 6.1-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nits peak brightness, safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has dimensions of 152.1 x 72.7 x 8.9 mm and weighs 188 grams.

Performance and Features

Powered by the Tensor G3 chip, the phone may have slightly underclocked performance compared to the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro. It offers 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device is expected to introduce new features like Magic Touch-up, Better Grip Magic, Real Tone, and more, along with a promised 7 years of software updates.

Camera and Connectivity

The Pixel 8a maintains a dual rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultrawide sensor, both likely from Samsung and Sony, respectively. Optical image stabilization is available for both lenses, with a 13MP front-facing camera. It also includes an IP67 rating, USB 3.2 Type-C port, Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, and LTE and 5G band support.

Pricing and Colors

The leaked details suggest a €549 price tag for the Pixel 8a in Europe, with a €150 trade-in bonus for older smartphones. The device is expected to be available in Bay, Lime Green, Obsidian, and Porcelain color options.

Now, all that remains is for the Pixel 8a to officially launch, as most of its features have already been revealed through leaks.
