Global Reno 12 Pro Geekbench Reveals Different Chipset from China

Oppo is set to unveil the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro smartphones for the global market this month. According to reports, the standard model is identified by the CPH2625 model number, while the Pro version is labeled as CPH2639. Last month, the base model appeared on Geekbench, and now the Pro variant has also been spotted on the benchmarking site.

Oppo Reno 12 Pro (Global) Geekbench Listing

The Reno 12 Pro has been listed on Geekbench with a MediaTek processor, featuring four CPU cores at 2GHz and another four cores at 2.5GHz. The source code of the Geekbench entry shows that it includes a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. These specifications suggest that the device might be powered by the newly launched Dimensity 7300 chipset. The listing also indicates that the device comes with 12 GB of RAM and runs on Android 14. It achieved scores of 1043 in the single-core test and 2944 in the multi-core test.

Reno 12 Specifications

Previously, the Reno 12 was also seen with similar CPU and GPU details, hinting that it might also use the Dimensity 7300 chipset. According to its Geekbench listing, the Reno 12 includes 8 GB of RAM and operates on Android 14. In performance tests, it scored 1033 points in the single-core test and 2750 points in the multi-core test.

Chinese vs. Global Variants

Oppo launched the Reno 12 series in China last month. The Chinese version of the Reno 12 is equipped with the Dimensity 8250 chip, while the Pro model features the Dimensity 9200+ SoC. It is speculated that the global variants of the Reno 12 and 12 Pro will have different camera setups compared to their Chinese counterparts.
