RugOne, which is part of Ulefone, is gearing up to launch a new outdoor smartphone named the RugOne Xever 7 Pro. Recently, GSMArena shared the first images and important details about the device. It seems that Ulefone hasn’t chosen a particularly big battery this time. Nonetheless, the 5,500mAh battery can be easily replaced in just a few steps.

Unique Battery Swap Feature

One standout feature of this smartphone is that you don’t need to restart it to change the battery. A small internal battery keeps the phone in standby mode for up to three minutes while you swap out the main battery. There’s also an extra battery included in the package. Even though it has a modular setup, the RugOne Xever 7 Pro meets IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certifications, which means it is waterproof. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor, accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card.

Impressive Camera Setup

The most notable feature of this rugged phone is likely its triple-camera system on the back. Along with a 50MP main camera that has optical image stabilization (OIS), Ulefone has integrated a 64MP night vision camera and a FLIR Lipton 3.5 thermal camera, boasting a resolution of 160 x 120 pixels and a frame rate of 9Hz. For selfies, a 32MP camera is cleverly placed in a punch-hole design.

High-Quality Display and Features

Moreover, the smartphone sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and can achieve a peak HDR brightness of 2,200 nits. The RugOne Xever 7 Pro comes pre-installed with Android 15 and is anticipated to receive significant software updates up to Android 18.
