Elista Expands its Product Line with Smartwatches
Indian consumer electronics brand, Elista, known for its affordable smart TVs, has announced its entry into the smartwatch market. The brand has introduced three new smartwatch models, expanding its product portfolio.
Introducing the Elista SmartRist E-Series
Elista's first-ever smartwatches are named the 'Elista SmartRist E-Series'. The series includes three models: SmartRist E-1, SmartRist E-2, and SmartRist E-4. It is unclear why the brand skipped the number '3', suggesting that this variant may be released at a later time.
Made for Gen Z Consumers
Elista claims that these wearables are 'made in India' and are specifically targeted towards Gen Z consumers. With their affordable price tags, the brand aims to provide accessible smartwatches to this demographic.
Affordable Fitness Trackers
Similar to many smartwatches in the market, the new Elista wearables serve as fitness trackers at affordable prices. All three models are priced under ₹2,000, with one model even priced below ₹1,500.
Design and Features
The SmartRist E-1 and SmartRist E-2 resemble the Apple Watch Ultra, while the SmartRist E-4 has a design similar to a regular Apple Watch. All models feature a metal casing, Always-on Display (AOD) functionality, and Bluetooth calling.
These smartwatches offer various watch faces and are compatible with both Android and iOS devices. They come with standard features such as multiple sports modes, heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, blood oxygen level monitoring, weather updates, music playback control, stopwatch, and more.
Display and Battery Life
The SmartRist E-1 and SmartRist E-2 are equipped with a 2.01-inch LCD display, offering a resolution of 296 x 240 pixels and a peak brightness level of 600 nits. They are designed to last up to 15 days on a full charge.
Availability and Pricing
Elista's new smartwatches will soon be available for purchase on Amazon India and in over 10,000 retail stores across the country. Here are the pricing details for each model:
