POCO is all set to launch its POCO X6 series and POCO M6 Pro 4G models in India soon. The official launch date for these devices has been announced, and now, the chipsets powering these smartphones have also been confirmed.
POCO X6 Series & POCO M6 Pro 4G Specs
As previously reported, POCO will unveil three smartphones globally in India on January 11, 2024. The lineup includes the POCO X6 5G, X6 Pro 5G, and M6 Pro 4G models. The launch date was revealed through a teaser image poster, which also disclosed the chipset details for the upcoming devices. According to the tweet, the POCO X6 Pro 5G will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC.
The Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC is said to be comparable to Qualcomm's 2023 flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The X6 Pro is expected to offer up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the POCO X6 5G will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. The top-end model of this variant is also likely to come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Moving on to the POCO M6 Pro 4G, it will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. This chipset is expected to be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
