Meizu 21 Claims to Have a Faster Camera than Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
Meizu is gearing up to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the Meizu 21, in China very soon. However, ahead of the official announcement, the company has shared a teaser that compares the camera capabilities of the device to Samsung's top-of-the-line Galaxy S23 Ultra model.
According to Meizu, the primary sensor on the back of the Meizu 21, the 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3, can outperform the camera of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Chinese smartphone maker asserts that the Meizu 21 offers an imaging speed that is approximately 40 percent higher than Samsung's flagship device. It is worth noting that the Meizu 21 is scheduled to launch on November 30 in China.
Pre-orders for the Meizu 21 are already open, and the response has been overwhelming, with over 250,000 units already reserved. Recent leaks have also revealed some of the specifications of the Meizu 21, as well as its color options. As per the available information, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Additionally, the device will feature Meizu's OneMind 10.5 AI engine, a new cooling mechanism, and a dedicated game mode.
On the front, the Meizu 21 will sport a 6.55-inch Samsung OLED display with incredibly thin 1.74mm bezels on all sides. The screen will also incorporate Ultrasonic Fingerprint Unlock 2.0 technology and a center-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. To keep the device running, it will be equipped with a powerful 4,800mAh battery pack.
