CMF Phone 1 specifications and features
The CMF Phone 1 sports a 6.67-inch sAMOLED display equipped with a fingerprint scanner. It offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, and HDR10+ support.
Design-wise, the most notable feature of the Phone 1 is its pill-shaped rear camera module located at the top left corner in silver. The power and volume rocker buttons are positioned on the right and left sides, respectively. The smartphone’s back panel has four screws at the edges, allowing users to change the back cover using the included screwdriver. The back cover comes in Light Green, Blue, and Orange shades, with the latter two sporting a leather texture finish. CMF’s trademark circular dial is situated at the bottom right corner of the back panel and can be unscrewed to attach accessories such as a phone stand, lanyard, or card case.
Performance and Battery
Internally, the CMF Phone 1 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. It is available in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, both with virtual RAM, and includes 128GB of storage. The device is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. On the software front, it runs on Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.6 layered on top.
Camera and Pricing
In terms of optics, the CMF Phone 1 is equipped with a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a secondary portrait lens. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera. The device supports 4K video recording at 30 fps and features Ultra XDR, co-developed with Google, for improved low-light photography.
The CMF Phone 1 is priced at Rs 15,999 and Rs 17,999 for the 6GB and 8GB RAM models, respectively. It will be available for purchase starting July 12 from Flipkart in India. In the US, the device starts at $199 through a beta program, while in the UK and Europe, it is priced starting at £209 and €239. The customizable case is priced at Rs 1,499 in India and $35 globally. Other accessories cost Rs 799 and $25.
