  • Oppo Find N6: Key Specs Revealed for Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Oppo Find N6: Key Specs Revealed for Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

    Key Takeaways

    1. The Oppo Find N6 is expected to feature an 8.1-inch inner display and a 6.6-inch outer display, similar to the Find N5.
    2. It will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, promising improved performance.
    3. The camera setup may include a 50MP Sony LYT808 sensor and a 50MP periscope lens with nearly 3X optical zoom.
    4. The battery capacity is anticipated to be around 6,000mAh while maintaining a slim design.
    5. Expected features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, wireless charging, water resistance, and a custom button for enhanced functionality.

The Oppo Find N5 was introduced as a top-tier foldable phone this past February. This phone improved on its predecessor, the Oppo Find N3, with significant enhancements, such as the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a 5600mAh battery within a slim 4.2mm frame when unfolded. Recently, a tip from leaker Digital Chat Station has shed light on the upcoming flagship foldable, likely named the Oppo Find N6.

    Display Features

According to the leak, the Oppo Find N6 will boast an inner display that measures around 8.1 inches, alongside a 6.6-inch outer display, mirroring the dimensions of the Oppo Find N5. However, what sets the Find N6 apart is its anticipated performance upgrade with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This chipset is Qualcomm’s newest high-end processor, featured in devices like the OnePlus 15, iQoo 15, and Xiaomi 17. There is still some uncertainty if the Find N6 will utilize a modified version of this processor since the previous model had a 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite.

    Camera Specifications

In terms of camera capabilities, the Find N6 is rumored to sport a 50MP Sony LYT808 sensor with a size of 1/1.4″. In contrast, the Oppo Find N5 had a smaller 50MP 1/1.56″ LYT-700 sensor. Moreover, the new model might be equipped with a 50MP periscope lens that offers close to 3X optical zoom, enhancing photography options for users.

    Battery and Features

Anticipated to have a battery capacity around 6,000mAh, the Oppo Find N6 is also expected to maintain a lightweight and slim profile. There are indications that it will retain features such as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, wireless charging, and water resistance, similar to its predecessor. Additionally, it may introduce a custom button for added functionality.

Keep in mind that Oppo has not confirmed any specifics regarding the Find N6 as of now. All this information stems from a leak and should be viewed with caution.

Wiko X70 Launch: Satellite Connectivity, 6100mAh Battery, Kunlun Glass

    Key Takeaways

    1. The Wiko X70 features BeiDou satellite messaging, enabling communication without cellular signals, ideal for emergencies in remote areas.
    2. It supports 5G technology and dual SIM card functionality.
    3. The smartphone has a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by durable Kunlun glass.
    4. The camera setup includes a 50 MP main camera and a 32 MP front-facing camera, with a large 6,100mAh battery that charges at 40 watts (no wireless charging).
    5. Available configurations include 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB RAM/storage, with prices starting at around $200 in China, but no confirmed plans for an international launch.

The Wiko X70 has recently been launched in China and features messaging capabilities through a BeiDou satellite connection. This means that the device can operate without relying on traditional cellular signals. Such a feature could be quite beneficial in emergencies, especially when assistance is needed in hard-to-reach areas. In addition, the Wiko X70 supports 5G technology and allows the use of dual SIM cards.

    Specifications and Display Features

The new Huawei smartphone has dimensions of 6.35 x 2.95 x 0.30 inches and boasts a 6.7-inch OLED screen. The display resolution stands at 2412 × 1080 pixels and offers a refresh rate of 120Hz for smoother visuals. The screen is safeguarded by Kunlun glass, which is said to be quite durable and is considered a competitor to the more widely recognized Gorilla Glass. This design aims to shield the device from damage during falls, and the Wiko X70 also holds an IP54 certification.

    Camera and Battery Performance

The main camera of the device captures images at a resolution of 50 megapixels, while the front-facing camera has a resolution of 32 megapixels. The battery capacity is significant at 6,100mAh and can recharge at a speed of up to 40 watts. However, users will find that wireless charging is not available. Additionally, the USB 2.0 port is rather slow when it comes to data transfers through a cable.

It’s unfortunate that Huawei hasn’t disclosed the specific SoC that powers the Wiko X70. Regardless, the smartphone is available in three different color options, with configurations of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and a high-end model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. There’s no information yet regarding a possible launch outside of China, which seems doubtful at this time. Prices in China for the Huawei Wiko X70 start at around $200.

  • Realme C85 Pro Hands-On: Design and Color Options Revealed

Realme C85 Pro Hands-On: Design and Color Options Revealed

    Key Takeaways

    1. The Realme C85 Pro features a massive 7,000mAh battery with 45W fast-charging support.
    2. It will come in black, green, and purple colors, with a refreshed rear design and a ring light in the camera module.
    3. The phone has a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, potentially reaching peak brightness of 4,000 nits.
    4. Powered by the 6nm Snapdragon 685 chipset, it will include 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, but is limited to 4G connectivity.
    5. The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera and 1x and 2x zoom options, but may lack an ultrawide camera.

We recently discussed leaks hinting at the upcoming Realme C85 Pro, which is expected to feature a huge 7,000mAh battery along with a top-notch IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. Now, fresh hands-on photos and a leaked video of the device have appeared, giving us a clearer view of the phone and confirming some of those initial specifications.

    Color Options and Design

The leaked images and video reveal that the phone will come in black, green, and purple shades. The camera layout on the back resembles that of the C75, but Realme has refreshed the rear design with a new texture. An interesting addition is a ring light within the camera module, though it’s still not clear what its exact purpose is, such as if it will be used for notifications. On the front, the device is expected to sport a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, with some sources claiming it could achieve an astonishing peak brightness of 4,000 nits.

    Battery and Performance

The standout feature is that massive 7,000mAh battery, which Realme has confirmed is a 1,000mAh boost over the C75’s battery capacity. Certification documents indicate that this battery will support 45W fast-charging capabilities. Inside, the C85 Pro is said to be powered by the 6nm Snapdragon 685 chipset, which is a significant upgrade from the MediaTek Helio G92 Max used in the C75 4G, which is built on a 12nm process.

    Memory and Camera Features

The device is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It’s important to point out that the Snapdragon 685 is a 4G-only chipset, which may limit its appeal depending on your location. Nevertheless, in areas where 5G isn’t common, this phone could serve as a practical choice. Leaks also indicate that it will operate on Android 15. For photography, the phone will feature a 50MP main camera alongside a second, unspecified sensor. The hands-on video confirms 1x and 2x zoom options, suggesting that the phone might lack an ultrawide camera, similar to its predecessor. The C85 Pro appears to be quietly launching in several markets, and we anticipate that complete specifications and official pricing will be revealed shortly.

Both the standard X300 and the X300 Pro have officially made their way to markets outside of China. Of the two, the regular X300 is the more budget-friendly option; however, it should be noted that the battery capacity in the European version is lower than that of its Chinese counterpart.

  • Huawei’s Dual 200 MP Camera Phone Could Outsmart Samsung

Huawei’s Dual 200 MP Camera Phone Could Outsmart Samsung

    Key Takeaways

    1. Huawei has developed the first tri-fold phone and is set to launch the world’s first dual 200 MP camera smartphone.
    2. The upcoming Huawei Pura 90 Ultra is expected to feature a 200 MP primary camera and a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera.
    3. Limited information is currently available about the Pura 90 Ultra, but testing of the Pura 90 Pro+ with a similar camera setup is also underway.
    4. The release of the Pura 90 Ultra is expected to be some time away, following the launch of the Pura 80 Ultra in June.
    5. Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series may be delayed until 2026, giving Huawei a competitive edge in the dual 200 MP camera market.

Huawei has outpaced Samsung in the race to create the first tri-fold phone, and it seems the company is set to also introduce the world’s first dual 200 MP camera smartphone. Recent reports indicate that Huawei is developing its next flagship in the Pura series, which is expected to feature two 200 MP cameras as part of its multi-camera arrangement.

    Leaked Details on Camera Setup

This information was shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, translated from Chinese. While the source didn’t explicitly name Huawei, an emoji commonly associated with the brand was used. The post reveals that the company is experimenting with a camera configuration that includes a 200 MP primary camera alongside a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera. This device is believed to be the Huawei Pura 90 Ultra, the follow-up to the Pura 80 Ultra.

    Limited Information Available

Currently, there is not much leakage regarding the Pura 90 Ultra online. Another source recently mentioned on Weibo that the Pura 90 Pro+ is also under testing with a dual 200 MP camera system. This would mark the first time a Huawei phone includes a 200 MP camera, much less two of them.

    Release Timeline and Competition

The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra was launched in June of this year, so it will likely be some time before the Pura 90 Ultra is officially announced. Meanwhile, Samsung does not appear to have any similar plans for its upcoming Galaxy S26 series, which is rumored to be delayed until 2026. Huawei has already surpassed the Korean brand by releasing the first commercially available tri-fold phone, and it now looks poised to lead again with a dual 200 MP camera arrangement, unless another competitor makes a move first.

  • Vivo X300 and X300 Pro EU Release Details Leaked Before Launch

Vivo X300 and X300 Pro EU Release Details Leaked Before Launch

    Key Takeaways

    1. The Vivo X300 and X300 Pro will be launched globally after their initial release in China.
    2. Pricing for the Eurozone has been confirmed, starting at €1,049 for the X300 series, which is €50 higher than Oppo’s similar models.
    3. The battery capacities of the Vivo models exceed those of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series.
    4. Vivo plans to implement a higher pricing strategy similar to Samsung, rather than following Oppo’s pricing model.
    5. Discounts will be offered at launch to help reduce overall prices for consumers.

The Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are set to be unveiled worldwide soon after their release in China earlier this month. Meanwhile, Vivo has confirmed pricing details for the Eurozone ahead of time.

    Pricing Details and Battery Specs

Recently, pricing for the Czech Republic surfaced, along with battery details for both models. Although the battery capacities do not quite match those of the models sold in China, they do exceed those found in Samsung’s Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra flagships (currently priced at $949 on Amazon). Sadly, it appears that Vivo is opting to adopt a higher pricing strategy similar to Samsung’s rather than following Oppo’s lead, making their new flagships more costly in the Eurozone.

    Comparison with Oppo

Earlier this week, we noted that Oppo has set the prices for the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro at €999 and €1,299 in the Eurozone. Interestingly, Vivo has chosen to add a €50 premium to its similar devices, even though they are launching after Oppo. Consequently, the X300 series will kick off at €1,049 in the Eurozone, not including additional accessories such as the Telephoto Extender Kit, which will be priced at €399—€50 less than Oppo’s equivalent. However, Vivo plans to offer a range of discount codes at launch, which should help lower prices overall. More details can be found in the images below.

    Conclusion

Vivo’s upcoming X300 and X300 Pro are poised to make a splash, but their Eurozone pricing strategy raises some eyebrows. With a slight increase compared to Oppo’s offerings and a few discounts on the horizon, it remains to be seen how consumers will respond.

MediaTek’s Upcoming High-End Dimensity Chipset Plans Revealed

    Key Takeaways

    1. MediaTek launched the Dimensity 9500 to compete with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, currently adopted by Oppo and Vivo.
    2. MediaTek typically introduces mid-cycle updates for flagship chipsets, as seen with the Dimensity 9300 Plus and Dimensity 9400 Plus.
    3. A new chipset, possibly named ‘Dimensity 9400++’, is rumored to launch in Q1 2026, instead of a true Dimensity 9500 successor.
    4. The Dimensity 9400++ is expected to feature four ARM Cortex-A720 cores, three Cortex-X4 cores, and a Cortex-X925 prime core at 3.73 GHz.
    5. The new chipset may utilize hardware optimizations and software improvements, but further details are not yet available.

Digital Chat Station has provided insights into the future of MediaTek’s high-end Dimensity line. Last month, MediaTek launched the Dimensity 9500, which competes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Currently, only Oppo and Vivo have adopted the Dimensity 9500 for their Find X9 and X300 series devices, respectively.

    Upcoming Chipset Refresh

MediaTek usually launches a mid-cycle update for its flagship mobile chipsets at some point. For example, the Dimensity 9300 Plus was introduced in July 2024, eight months after the original Dimensity 9300. Similarly, MediaTek enhanced the Dimensity 9400 by releasing the Dimensity 9400 Plus in the spring, which now powers devices like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, currently priced at $1,149.99 on Amazon. Among these models is the Dimensity 9400e, a slower version of the 9400 that made its debut a month after the standard model.

    Rumored Launch Details

Digital Chat Station suggests that MediaTek might follow a similar pattern with the Dimensity 9500 series, hinting at a new chipset launch early next year. On Weibo, the leaker mentioned that MediaTek is planning to announce what it calls a ‘Dimensity 9400++’ in Q1 2026, rather than a true Dimensity 9500 chipset. This new unnamed chipset is expected to return to TSMC’s N3E node, which is used for the Dimensity 9400 Plus, rather than the newer Dimensity 9500.

    Specifications of the Dimensity 9400++

The alleged Dimensity 9400++ is said to include four ARM Cortex-A720 efficiency cores, three Cortex-X4 cores, and a single Cortex-X925 prime core running at 3.73 GHz, similar to its predecessor. Additionally, Digital Chat Station anticipates that the unreleased chipset will maintain the Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU clocked at 1,612 MHz. MediaTek is reportedly looking to set the Dimensity 9400++ apart from its existing chipset through hardware optimizations and software improvements. Unfortunately, Digital Chat Station has not provided any further details on this matter yet.

Vivo has announced that it will not be launching a direct successor to the X200 Pro mini. Instead, the company has emphasized in its recent promotional campaign in China that the X300 is intended to take the place of the X200 Pro mini, mainly because it comes with a 6.31-inch display just like its Pro mini version. Interestingly, the X300 is also gearing up to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S25 on a global scale, which is currently priced at $653 on Amazon.

    New Developments on the Horizon

According to a recent post from Digital Chat Station, Vivo is working on a different version called the S50 Pro Mini, which could resemble the X200 Pro mini.
