- Expected to ship in June 2026
This controller operates via GameSir Connect Software, unlike the previous one which uses Nexus. It is designed mainly for PC gamers who want precision. Its lighter weight is because it doesn’t have vibration motors, making it more streamlined. With the same price point, it’s a tempting option for those who prefer a wired setup but don’t need vibration feedback.
The Premium Tarantula Ultra 8K PC
On the high end is the Tarantula Ultra 8K PC, available only for PC and offering both wired and wireless options through USB-C and 2.4GHz respectively. It’s got the latest Mag-Res TMR sticks, dual trigger stops, and tactile D-pad, making it very advanced. The buttons even have capacitive touch sensors, which is quite innovative, although that isn’t fully explained yet. It’s got an 8,000Hz polling rate, with a response time of just 0.5 milliseconds whether wired or wireless, designed for ultimate speed.
Extra Features and Limitations
- Up to 32-step macro support

Additional Notes & Compatibility Limitations
Sadly, none of these Tarantula controllers are suitable for Nintendo Switch, Android, or iOS. If you need a controller that can work with these platforms, the Tarantula Pro is a good option, because it can connect wirelessly and has a gear mechanism that switches face button layouts between Nintendo and Xbox configurations. This versatility makes the Tarantula Pro quite popular among those who use multiple systems.
