OnePlus is gearing up to unveil its latest smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 3, in China on January 4, 2024. The press conference is scheduled to commence at approximately 2:30 PM Beijing time. While the device has already been the subject of leaks and teasers from the company, a new teaser has revealed an exciting piece of information about the upcoming smartphone.

According to the teaser, the OnePlus Ace 3 will offer improved signal stability, thanks to a 360° antenna. This enhancement is expected to enhance connectivity, particularly benefiting gamers with a more reliable signal. Additionally, the smartphone will feature WiFi 7 support, which will result in faster speeds and reduced latency. Furthermore, the OnePlus Ace 3 will come equipped with a Game Cloud Computing Private Network, offering users a 2-year free trial to enjoy games seamlessly.

In addition to today's teaser, OnePlus has previously hinted at the inclusion of a ProXDR panel with Photo Matrix Display Technology. Another notable feature is the "rain touch" display, which will enable users to operate the device even with wet hands. Alongside the smartphone, OnePlus will also announce a limited edition backpack, knitted hat, pop-up limited edition notebook, and Slime Gel Pen.

Moving on to the specifications and features of the OnePlus Ace 3, camera samples have been teased, showcasing the device's prowess in this segment. The smartphone will sport a triple camera module, including a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calling, it will boast a 16MP front sensor.

The OnePlus Ace 3 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch BOE X1 8T LTPO display, offering a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels, 2160PWM dimming, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will support up to 1600 nits of brightness and 4500 nits of peak brightness. Interestingly, the smartphone seems to house the same panel found in the Realme GT 5 Pro.

Reports suggest that the OnePlus Ace 3 could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The device will be equipped with a 5500 mAh battery and support 100W fast charging. It is also rumored to be rebranded as the OnePlus 12R when it enters the global market in January.
