Leaked Renders Reveal Moto G04, G24 Featured in 360-Degree Leaked Video

Moto G04 and Moto G24 Leak: Design and Specifications Revealed

Recently, leaked renders and a 360-degree video have provided a glimpse of two new Moto G-series phones – the Moto G04 and Moto G24. These leaks suggest that Motorola is sticking to a consistent design across its upcoming Moto G-lineup, following the footsteps of the previously leaked Moto G24 Power and G34.

    Design Details

The Moto G04 and G24 share the same design as their counterparts, featuring a rectangular camera bump that extends to the side edges of the back panel. This design resembles the design seen on OPPO’s Find X6 and Reno 8-series phones. Both devices sport a boxy design and have the volume rocker and power button positioned on the right side. Interestingly, the power button on the G24 will also serve as a fingerprint scanner.

On the front, both the Moto G04 and G24 showcase a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout display, accompanied by a thick bottom chin. The leaked renders reveal that the G04 will house a single 16MP rear camera, while the G24 will boast a 50MP primary camera along with a secondary lens. Additionally, the Moto G04 will feature a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top, a USB-C port, a speaker grille, and a microphone at the bottom.

    Color Options and Expectations

According to the leaks, the Moto G04 will be available in Dark Blue, Green, Black, and Orange colors. On the other hand, the Moto G24 is expected to launch in Green, Black, and Pink variants. The Moto G24 will serve as the successor to the G23, while the Moto G04 is anticipated to be a budget-friendly offering from Motorola.

It is worth noting that these leaked renders and information should be taken with a grain of salt until an official announcement is made by Motorola. However, they do provide an exciting preview of what we can expect from the upcoming Moto G04 and Moto G24 smartphones.

Earlier this year, Lenovo unveiled the ThinkVision 27 3D monitor at IFA 2023. This cutting-edge monitor offers an immersive 3D viewing experience, but it does come with specific system requirements. To fully utilize its functionalities, users will need an Intel Core i5-7400 processor, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card, at least 50 GB of hard drive space, and 8 GB of RAM.

Windows-based PCs are the only compatible devices for the ThinkVision 27 3D monitor, and it requires Windows 10 or the latest version of the operating system. Unfortunately, users with other operating systems will not be able to take advantage of its features.

Additionally, Lenovo takes pride in the monitor’s color accuracy. The ∆E values are less than one right out of the box, and each unit is color-calibrated straight from the factory. This ensures that users can enjoy precise and true-to-life colors without any additional calibration.

    Convenient Connectivity Options

To enhance the overall user experience, Lenovo has included a stylish USB hub with the ThinkVision 27 3D monitor. The monitor comes equipped with four USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port capable of charging devices at up to 100 Watts, one upstream USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port, and one downstream USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port. Windows 11 now offers improved discoverability of screencasting. Users can now wirelessly expand their display to nearby PCs, TVs, or other external displays using Casting on their Windows PC. Microsoft has made updates to emphasize the discoverability of Cast in Windows 11, including providing the option to Cast via a notification toast while multitasking on the PC. They have also enhanced the Cast flyout in Quick Settings to address connecting issues and finding adjacent displays.

New Features and Improvements in Windows 365 Boot

Nearby Sharing has been added, allowing users to give their device a more friendly name for easier sharing. Narrator users can now dictate text, use voice interaction with screen components, and utilize voice access to launch programs. Global Launch Event

The launch event, scheduled for 9 a.m. EST, is expected to unveil the devices to a global audience. While the exact location of the event remains undisclosed, the launch poster shared by the company shows that the launch which may likely be virtual will take place simultaneously across different regions – North America, Europe, and India, given the three time zones indicated. For the North American region, the launch will happen at 9:00 AM EST while for Europe, it will take place at 3:00 PM CET. The launch will also happen in India at 7:30 PM IST.

OnePlus 12: A Potential Turning Point

The OnePlus 12 is generating significant interest as it marks a potential turning point for the company. Observers note a sense of momentum and promise, signaling a departure from previous models. Although specific details about the devices are yet to be officially confirmed, the company indicated on the teaser poster that the models may have minor changes that include the thickness and network configurations. There may also be other minor changes that are not known at the moment.

    Specifications and Features

The OnePlus 12 series has been launched and is already on sale in China where it has been plagued with some controversies that have been addressed by the company’s CEO Li Jie. To give you a hint of the configuration, the OnePlus 12 packs a 6.82-inch curved OLED display with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The model is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor backed by LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The device also comes with a large VC cooling system which should do a great job of keeping the device cool while running heavy apps like extreme games. The device utilizes a glass and metal frame and has an IP65 waterproof rating.

For optics, the OP12 packs a triple rear camera setup similar to the OnePlus Open comprising a 50MP main sensor and Hasselblad image processing. On the software side, the device runs on the Android 14-based ColorOS 14. It equally crams a 5,400 mAh battery under the hood with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Last year, OnePlus omitted the 11R from the global launch, only making the model available in India with the previous-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. In the same vein, we expect the OnePlus 12R to be a cheaper model with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset but the same design.

  • Apple Warns Against Using Non-Certified Chargers

Apple Warns Against Using Non-Certified Chargers

Apple’s Caution Regarding the Usage of Non-Certified Chargers and Cables

Apple, a prominent global technology entity, has issued a cautionary advisory to its clientele concerning the possible hazards associated with utilizing chargers and cables lacking certification. Through a support documentation release, Apple delineates the diverse issues that can emerge from utilizing products originating from alternate manufacturers. These complications encompass sluggish charging, recurrent chimes, diminished battery longevity, and even the potential for electrical malfunctions and mishaps.

The Perils of Utilizing Non-Certified Accessories

Apple notably underscores that these dangers are notably pronounced for gadgets like the Apple Watch, iPhone, and AirPods. The corporation underscores the significance of utilizing chargers and cables either produced by Apple or possessing the "Made for Apple" certification. Nevertheless, it warrants mention that mere certification does not inherently ensure the quality and safety of an accessory.

    Emphasizing Quality Beyond Brand Name

While Apple advocates for using their own products or certified accessories, they acknowledge that a top-tier charger not expressly tailored for Apple devices should not pose any risk. The pivotal element here is the caliber of the accessory rather than its brand. Consequently, as a discerning consumer, it is imperative to exercise informed decision-making when opting for third-party accessories.

    Ensuring Safety Measures

To ensure the safety and compatibility of a third-party charger or cable, Apple recommends searching for the "Made for Apple" certification. This certification serves as an indicator that the accessory has been meticulously crafted to meet Apple’s requisites. Moreover, Apple furnishes a public repository of MFi (Made for iPhone/iPad/iPod) accessories, enabling consumers to authenticate the legitimacy of a certified third-party charger.

By cautioning against the utilization of non-certified chargers and cables, Apple endeavors to safeguard its clientele against potential risks and guarantee the optimal functionality of their gadgets. Therefore, prior to procuring or employing a third-party accessory, it is prudent to contemplate the quality and certification status to arrive at an informed choice.

  • OnePlus 12 Reviewed: The OnePlus Phone with the Least Drawbacks

OnePlus 12 Reviewed: The OnePlus Phone with the Least Drawbacks

This year marks the 10th anniversary of OnePlus, and they have put all their efforts into creating their latest phone, the OnePlus 12. As someone who has reviewed many OnePlus phones, I can confidently say that the OnePlus 12 is the best OnePlus phone to buy in the past two years. I’m glad to see OnePlus back in action.

    Design

The camera module design on the OnePlus 12 may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but personally, I find it unremarkable. When I first laid eyes on the phone, I immediately recognized it as a new OnePlus release.

Some early adopters have reported a gap between the camera module and the back cover on their OnePlus 12. However, we did not encounter this issue with our unit. OnePlus CEO has addressed this concern, stating that it does not affect the phone’s waterproofing. Future phones will have this area filled with glue, so it should not be a significant problem.

Speaking of waterproofing, it is disappointing that the OnePlus 12 only supports IP65. As a flagship phone, it would have been preferable for it to have an IP68 rating. This decision is quite perplexing.

Fortunately, IP65 seems to be the only weakness of the OnePlus 12. The fingerprint area is conveniently placed, USB 3.0 makes a comeback, and the alert slider is still present. Additionally, the vibration motor is one of the best among Android phones. Overall, unless you are someone who frequently exposes their phone to water, the OnePlus 12 is an excellent choice.

    Display

While the screen on the OnePlus 11 was decent, it was not particularly eye-friendly. The OnePlus 12 addresses this issue and does an excellent job of displaying and protecting your eyes simultaneously. Furthermore, the 4500nit peak brightness is impressive, and the full-screen brightness surpasses that of other phones.

The ability to adjust the color temperature in the Display Setting provides more freedom, and a feature similar to True Tone is also available. The viewing angle of the panel is slightly inferior to TCL’s C8 but far superior to the Samsung E6.

As an LTPO screen, the OnePlus 12 offers 2160Hz PWM dimming at low brightness and 360Hz DC-like dimming at high brightness. The black stripes on the OnePlus 12 are noticeably thinner, indicating better flicker control. If you value both display quality and eye protection, the OnePlus 12 is the ideal choice.

    Benchmark & Gaming

The OnePlus 12 is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which is familiar to many of us. It is unnecessary to delve into the details as the scores speak for themselves. It is worth noting that the OnePlus 12 does not seem to prioritize aggressive performance, as it starts downclocking in the fourth minute of the CPU Throttling Test and downclocks twice.

However, in gaming scenarios, the OnePlus 12 will allow you to play continuously for 20 minutes before downclocking, which is normal for non-gaming phones. The frame rate is locked at 50fps, so if you are a dedicated gamer, you may want to consider a dedicated gaming phone for extended gaming sessions.

    Camera

All three cameras on the OnePlus 12 are impressive, with none of the sensors being small in size. While they may not have the massive 1-inch sensors found in phones like the X100 Pro, they still capture decent photos.

It is difficult to provide a detailed breakdown of the pros and cons of the OnePlus 12 cameras without a proper comparison. Therefore, we will be creating a video comparing the OnePlus 12 to the realme GT5 Pro. In that video, you will find all the information you need to know about the OnePlus 12 cameras. Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel.

    Battery & Charging

The wired charging power of the OnePlus 12 remains unchanged at 100W, allowing for a full charge in just 23 minutes. However, the biggest surprise is the addition of wireless charging, which operates at 50W. Furthermore, the OnePlus 12 boasts impressive battery life. Compared to the K70 Pro, which also has a 2K screen, the OnePlus 12’s 400mAh larger capacity gives it a significant advantage. Well done, OnePlus.

    Conclusion

Upon reflection, the OnePlus 12 stands out as a OnePlus phone with minimal flaws. Apart from the camera design and the IP65 rating, which may not concern many users, it is challenging to find any other faults. Furthermore, its price is relatively affordable compared to other flagship phones.

While I hesitate to dub the OnePlus 12 as the new flagship killer of the year due to the realme GT5 Pro, it remains an incredibly worthwhile phone that is almost perfect. I hope you enjoy OnePlus’ 10th-anniversary gift to its fans.
