Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has confirmed it will attend ChinaJoy 2026, the major digital entertainment expo running from July 31 to August 3 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The company says it is preparing to unveil a “major new product” at the event, though it has stopped short of naming the device.

Redmi will host its exhibit at booth N5-02 inside the Snapdragon pavilion. An official teaser image points to a smartphone featuring a wide horizontal rear camera housing, a design cue that has generated early speculation among industry watchers. No specifications or product names have been officially released ahead of the show.
Hints of a K100 series debut
Well-known tipster Digital Chat Station believes the mystery device could belong to the next-generation Redmi K100 series. The move would follow the October 2025 launch of the high-end Redmi K90 lineup, which debuted with the standard Redmi K90 and the Redmi K90 Pro Max.
Expected hardware and core specifications
According to earlier leaks, the K100 series may include a Redmi K100 Pro model. The device is expected to sport a 185Hz OLED display and be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset—the same silicon found in the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Battery capacity is rumored to reach roughly 8,500mAh, supported by 50W wireless charging. Camera specifications may center on a 200MP main sensor, though formal confirmation remains pending.
