Vivo has formally introduced the X300 E, the newest member of its photography-oriented X300 lineup, in its home market of China. The company has not yet indicated whether the device will see a wider international release.
A distinct design and build
Departing from the circular camera housings found on the standard Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, the X300 E adopts a square rear camera module. The handset combines an aluminum frame with a glass back and is offered in three colorways: black, white, and orange. The black and orange variants measure 7.79 mm in profile and weigh 199.5 grams, while the white edition comes in slightly thicker at 7.99 mm and 203 grams.
Display and processing power
On the front, the phone features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,750 x 1,260 pixels and a 144 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, Qualcomm’s flagship chipset manufactured on a 3nm process and paired with an Adreno 829 GPU. Memory and storage configurations include 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM alongside up to 512 GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.
Zeiss-tuned imaging and standout battery life
The X300 E is equipped with a Zeiss-branded triple camera system. The rear array comprises a 50 MP Sony IMX921 main sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a 50 MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens that also benefits from OIS. Selfie duties are handled by a 50 MP front-facing camera capable of recording 4K video.
Perhaps the phone’s most notable specification is its 7,200 mAh battery, which supports 90 W wired fast charging but omits wireless charging. This is the largest battery in the entire Vivo X300 family, exceeding even the 6,600 mAh cell found in the Vivo X300 Ultra. The device runs OriginOS 6 on top of Android 16 and includes an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and an infrared blaster.
Pricing and availability
The Vivo X300 E starts at CNY 4,799 (approximately $709) for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage configuration, while the 12 GB / 512 GB variant is priced at CNY 5,299 (around $782). Pre-orders are open now in China, with general sales scheduled to begin on July 31 at 9:00 AM local time.
