Xiaomi’s latest budget-friendly fitness tracker appears ready for launch, following a series of regulatory sightings in May. Newly published images and feature details provide the clearest picture yet of the Smart Band 11 Active, a device positioned as an even more accessible entry point in the company’s wearable lineup. According to the report, the band is expected to arrive “soon” with a recommended price of around €40, which converts to approximately $45.
A More Affordable Display Choice
That pricing places the Smart Band 11 Active below the older Xiaomi Smart Band 10 in cost, but there is a notable trade-off in display technology. Instead of an AMOLED panel, this model uses a 1.47-inch LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 320 by 172 pixels. The device does offer an always-on display function, though enabling it cuts the battery endurance from an estimated 14 days down to nine days. Fully replenishing the 300 mAh battery is expected to take roughly two hours.
Lightweight Build and Health Tracking
Physically, the band is around 10.2 millimeters thick and weighs 16.5 grams. It houses a heart rate sensor, an SpO2 monitor, and an accelerometer, which together allow support for more than 50 sports modes. Sleep and stress tracking are also included. With a water resistance rating of 5 ATM, the wearable can be worn while swimming, making it a versatile alternative for users who do not require a full smartwatch.
What’s Left Out to Keep the Price Low
To achieve the lower price point, Xiaomi has reportedly omitted an NFC chip for contactless payments and a GPS module. While a complete specifications sheet has not yet been published, the leak indicates color options will include white, pink, gray, and black. An exact on-sale date is still unconfirmed, but the release is widely expected to be imminent.
