Casio has quietly introduced another refined analog timepiece to its US catalog. The MTP-1302PGC-3AV arrives stateside well over a year after its debut in Europe, the United Kingdom, and India, joining a growing selection of affordable dress watches from the Japanese brand.
A dial designed to catch the light
The most striking feature of the new model is its radiant green sunburst dial, which shifts noticeably as the viewing angle changes, lending the watch a presence typically associated with far more expensive pieces. The face is housed in a gold ion-plated stainless steel case measuring 44.2 × 38.5 × 9.4 mm, and Casio has paired the case with a matching gold ion-plated stainless steel bracelet secured by a triple-fold clasp. A coin-edge fluted bezel reinforces the classic luxury aesthetic.
Practical details and movement
Legibility is addressed with a date window positioned at 3 o’clock and luminous coating applied to the hands for low-light visibility. Inside, the watch runs on Casio’s 2784 quartz module, delivering standard three-hand timekeeping with an accuracy of ±20 seconds per month. Power comes from an SR626SW battery, which the company rates for approximately three years of operation. Mineral glass protects the dial, and the bracelet is designed to fit wrists between 150 mm and 205 mm in circumference.

The MTP-1302PGC-3AV is listed on the official Casio US store at $120. The watch carries a 50-meter water resistance rating, making it splash-proof and suitable for brief immersion.
