Garmin’s upcoming smart band, the CIRQA, is coming into clearer focus just ahead of its anticipated launch. After an initial image surfaced only hours ago hinting at a July 21 unveiling, additional product photos have now been uncovered, offering the most detailed look yet at the device’s design and features.

Design and color options revealed

The newly leaked images, reportedly pulled from an official Garmin webpage, present the CIRQA in four color variations: beige, blue, red, and black. In each case, the color is applied exclusively to the fabric strap and clasp, while the main body housing the electronics, battery, and sensors remains black. Multiple angles shown in the leak also provide a first view of the adjustable wristband and confirm the product name inscribed on the back as “Garmin CIRQA Smart Band.”

Repairability and charging clues

Four visible screws on the underside of the module suggest that the device can be opened relatively easily, potentially allowing for battery replacement. No water-resistance rating is visible on the casing. The charging port mirrors the connector found on current Garmin smartwatches, meaning existing charging cables will likely work without modification. Additionally, the band attaches via a quick-release mechanism similar to traditional watches, which may allow users to swap in standard watch straps.

Sensor choice reflects a budget focus

The images confirm that the CIRQA is built around the previous-generation Garmin Elevate 4 optical sensor, rather than the newer Elevate 5 platform. This sensor choice means the device is not expected to offer a skin temperature sensor or ECG functionality. Such cost-conscious engineering aligns with a broader trend in the entry-level fitness band category: the Polar Loop similarly relies on an older sensor module instead of the manufacturer’s latest Elixir sensor. The component decisions reinforce price-point rumors, which place the Garmin CIRQA at around $199 or €199 when it launches.
