A fresh batch of promotional images has surfaced just hours before Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22, offering a clearer look at the company’s upcoming Galaxy Watch lineup. The visuals, which appear to be marketing assets intended for Spanish-speaking regions, were published on X by an account using the handle @evleaks. Although the account mirrors the style of well-known leaker Evan Blass, Blass has previously stated that it is not operated by him. The newly shared material provides a significantly sharper resolution than earlier leaks.
Battery capacities see a notable correction
One of the more revealing details in the latest images concerns the specifications of the Galaxy Watch 9. An earlier leak from July 11 claimed the battery in the 40 mm variant would remain unchanged at 325 mAh. The new promotional material contradicts that figure. According to the images, the smaller 40 mm model will now be equipped with a 390 mAh battery, while the 44 mm version will feature a 445 mAh cell. One picture also shows a user raising their wrist to complete a purchase, signaling a focus on on-watch ordering functionality.
Diving certification and rugged upgrades for the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2
The leaked images further reveal an upgrade for the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 that has not appeared in prior reports. A fine-print section in the promotional visuals hints at EN13319 certification. This international standard formally qualifies a device as diving equipment – a designation absent from previous Ultra models. Earlier versions carried 10 ATM and IP68 ratings, yet Samsung’s own documentation explicitly advised against using them for diving. The EN13319 mark indicates the company is now directly addressing that limitation.
Additional specifications highlighted in the material include an IP69K certification for resistance to high-pressure water jets, a titanium body, and what Samsung describes as a 12 percent thinner design. The wearable is shown to pack an 800 mAh battery and a peak display brightness of 5,000 nits, substantially increasing both capacity and outdoor visibility compared to its predecessor.
