Xiaomi has introduced a compact, high-capacity portable charging solution for the Indian market. The new Power Bank 5i 20,000 67 W packs a substantial battery into a form factor that closely matches the footprint of a typical smartphone, measuring 14 x 7.2 x 3.12 cm (5.5 x 2.83 x 1.22 inches). At 420 grams (14.8 ounces), the device carries noticeable heft for its size.
Port Configuration and Device Compatibility
The power bank features a 20,000 mAh battery and offers a maximum output of 67 W. It includes built-in USB-C and USB-A ports, plus an integrated USB-C cable that also functions as a carrying lanyard. According to the manufacturer’s estimates, the power bank can fully charge an iPhone 17 Pro approximately 3.46 times, a Xiaomi 17 Ultra roughly 2.93 times, and a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra around 3.11 times. It is also capable of replenishing USB-C-powered laptops, including the MacBook Air.
Power Delivery and Charging Standards
When a single port is used, the accessory delivers output levels of 67 W, 67 W, and 22.5 W respectively. With all four outputs active simultaneously, the total combined power delivery reaches up to 67 W. The device supports several fast-charging protocols, including PD 3.0, PPS, QC 3.5, BC 1.2, and Apple 2.4A. Recharging the power bank itself is handled at 65 W, though no official figure has been provided for a full recharge time.
Monitoring and Safety Features
A compact smart digital display sits on the upper left side of the unit, relaying battery level, charging status, a low current mode indicator, and malfunction alerts. Safety provisions include 12 layers of protection alongside dual NTC sensors for sustained temperature monitoring. The Xiaomi Power Bank 5i 20,000 67 W is offered in jet black and ice blue color options. It carries a price tag of ₹3,299 (~$34) and will be available for purchase directly from Xiaomi’s website starting 28th July.
