Xiaomi has officially launched a new 20,000mAh power bank with an integrated USB-C cable in China, building out its portable charging lineup after the accessory first appeared on the company’s Youpin platform in June. The launch arrives alongside a more affordable 10,000mAh variant and is aligned with China’s upcoming 2026 national power bank standard, which introduces stricter safety requirements intended to curb overheating, fire, and other battery failures.

Built-In Cable and Multi-Device Charging

The power bank pairs twin 10,000mAh cells for a total rated energy capacity of 74 Wh. That figure puts it comfortably under the 100 Wh limit typically enforced for carry-on batteries in the United States, and it carries CCC certification for air travel within China. In practical terms, Xiaomi notes that the pack can fully replenish a 13-inch MacBook Air M4 (53.8 Wh) with some reserve capacity remaining.

Charging output reaches up to 22.5 W through the permanently attached USB-C cable. An additional USB-C port and one USB-A port sit alongside the built-in cable, enabling users to charge as many as three devices at once. Four LED indicators display the remaining battery level at a glance.

Battery Monitoring and Availability

Beyond basic charge status, the power bank can be connected to a PC or laptop to surface more detailed information, including remaining capacity, battery health, and charge cycle count. The device will go on general sale in China on July 22 priced at 149 yuan (roughly $22), offered in a choice of two colors. Both the 20,000mAh and 10,000mAh models are currently accessible through Xiaomi Youpin, though the company has not yet signaled plans for an international release.
