The Lenovo Legion R7 RT75, a new 75% form-factor gaming keyboard with magnetic switch technology, has launched in China. Designed for the high-performance segment, the peripheral combines an 8,000 Hz polling rate with a chassis crafted entirely from lightweight aluminum alloy. A fixed 6-degree typing angle is built into the structure for improved ergonomics.
Build and Visual Design
The keyboard’s side panels feature sculpted geometric cutouts that reveal internal RGB lighting zones, creating an effect similar to well-known art-inspired mechanical keyboards on the market. Internally, Lenovo has employed a gasket-mounted design with five layers of sound dampening and a carbon fiber positioning plate to tune the acoustics. The hot-swappable PCB comes fitted with fully transparent Aurora magnetic switches, which have an operating force range of 27 to 45 gf, along with pre-lubricated stabilizers.
Colorways and Magnetic Customization
Two color options are available: Cloud Silver, which pairs translucent and metallic dye-sublimated keycaps, and Storm Gray, which uses translucent keycaps exclusively. Both configurations feature south-facing RGB backlighting. On the software side, the Legion R7 RT75 is built for competitive play, supporting rapid trigger functionality with 0.01 mm precision. Users can also adjust the actuation point across a broad range from 0.1 mm to 3.4 mm, and the board supports features like SOCD and DKS.
Connectivity and Power
Integration with Lenovo’s Aurora RGB ecosystem is included, alongside a 1.4-inch TFT display built into the keyboard. Power is supplied by a substantial 8,000 mAh battery. The device connects over low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless, USB-C wired, or Bluetooth, although the Bluetooth connection is capped at a 125 Hz polling rate.
The Legion R7 RT75 is priced at 1,299 yuan (roughly US$192) in China, where it debuts alongside a new 59-gram lightweight gaming mouse. Details regarding international availability and pricing have not yet been announced.
