Lenovo has quietly launched a new value-focused gaming laptop in China under its Lecoo sub-brand: the Lecoo Fighter 7000X 2026. The machine pairs a slimmed-down design with Intel’s latest Arrow Lake architecture and mid-range Nvidia graphics, delivering a competitive specification sheet at a relatively accessible price.

Design and Portability

The laptop measures just 18.95 mm at its thinnest point and weighs approximately 1.99 kg, making it notably portable for a 16-inch gaming system. Despite the lean chassis, Lenovo has equipped the machine with a capable dual-fan thermal solution designed to handle sustained combined loads. It will be offered in two color options.

Performance and Internal Hardware

Two processor options are available. The base configuration runs on an Intel Core 7 245HX, while the higher-tier model steps up to a Core Ultra 7 251HX. Both processors are paired exclusively with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU, which Lenovo rates for up to 115 W of graphics power. The CPU is specified for up to 110 W, giving the system a combined thermal envelope that should handle virtually all AAA titles smoothly at 1080p resolution.

Memory comes in the form of 16 GB of DDR5 RAM, and because the modules are not soldered, users can upgrade after purchase. Storage starts at 512 GB for the base variant and moves to 1 TB on the top-end configuration. Lenovo has not detailed the number of M.2 slots, but the storage is expected to be user-expandable. For reference, high-capacity drives such as the 2 TB Samsung SSD 9100 Pro are currently available on the retail market.

Display, Battery, and Connectivity

The 16-inch IPS panel carries a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 180 Hz refresh rate, alongside 100% sRGB color coverage, which makes it a viable option for color-sensitive professional tasks beyond gaming. An 80 Wh battery provides the power, supplemented by a compact 245 W GaN adapter in the box. Lenovo has also included a practical port selection, though full interface details have yet to be enumerated.

Pricing and Availability

Official pricing on JD.com places the Core 7 245HX configuration at CNY 7,905 (approximately $1,163), while the Core Ultra 7 251HX variant starts at CNY 8,999 (roughly $1,324). A wide international release for the Lecoo brand appears unlikely based on past patterns. However, Lenovo has previously repositioned Lecoo models under its LOQ lineup for global markets, leaving open the possibility of a rebranded version reaching other regions at a later date.
