The discovery was made by Andre Lardon, who encountered the CIRQA while navigating the Garmin Connect app’s list of connectable devices. The app routinely allows users to add new hardware either by browsing a catalogue or performing a manual search. According to a report from Garmin News, the CIRQA entry appeared fleetingly within this dynamic list, complete with the standard identification image that Garmin provides for each product. By the morning of July 18, 2026, however, the listing could no longer be accessed, suggesting Garmin may have pulled it from the live interface.

The single available image depicts a modest band-style wearable that shares clear design DNA with the Vivosmart 5, albeit with one significant omission: there is no visible display. The front face appears to carry only a Garmin logo, hinting at a device focused on core fitness metrics rather than on-screen interactions. Because the Garmin Connect app displays only a front-facing image for each device, no view of the rear sensor array is currently available. It is worth noting that the circulated image has been processed using artificial intelligence to enhance its resolution beyond its original quality within the app.
