Fiio has introduced the FG3, a new Hi-Fi gaming headset designed to blend detailed audio reproduction with gamer-focused utility. The wired headset features a dual-driver configuration in each earcup, pairing a 50 mm dynamic driver for low- to mid-range frequencies with a 16 mm tweeter handling the highs. Together, they cover a frequency response spanning 10 Hz to 40 kHz.

Instant Game Mode Switching and Virtual Soundstage

A core feature of the FG3 is its one-click access to dedicated gaming audio profiles. Users can quickly cycle through modes tuned for action titles, first-person shooters, MOBAs, and rhythm games, along with a customizable 10-band equalizer. An integrated high-resolution DAC, certified for Hi-Res Audio, processes signals at up to 192 kHz/24-bit and renders 7.1 virtual surround sound to enhance spatial awareness during play.

Cross-Platform Connectivity and Communication

Wide device support is handled through UAC 1.0 and UAC 2.0 protocols, making the headset compatible with Windows and Apple computers, popular game consoles, and mobile devices via the included USB-C cable. For team coordination, a detachable boom microphone employs environmental noise cancellation to preserve vocal clarity, while an in-line remote puts audio playback and microphone mode controls within easy reach.

The Fiio FG3 carries a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $69.99 and is available immediately.
