True to expectations, the Redmi Watch 5 features a sizable 2.07-inch AMOLED display, boasting a resolution of 432 x 514 pixels and an impressive brightness of 1,500 nits.
Design and Battery Life
Additionally, the display is topped with 2.5D curved glass, which adds a nice touch to its design. The watch's mid-frame is made from aluminum alloy, while the crown is crafted from stainless steel. The Redmi Watch 5 is equipped with a 550 mAh battery, which can last over 12 days on a single charge. Plus, it includes GNSS and NFC capabilities, along with a modem that supports Bluetooth 5.3.
Operating System and Health Features
Running on HyperOS 2.0, the Redmi Watch 5 is compatible with smartphones that operate on Android 8.0 and iOS 12.0 or later versions. As with previous models, this latest watch is packed with health monitoring features, including an optical heart rate and blood oxygen sensor. Interestingly, there is also an eSIM version available, which retails for CNY 799 (about $110) at launch.
