Xiaomi has introduced a new power bank on its Youpin crowdfunding site, named the Xiaomi Powerbank 25000 212W. Despite the name suggesting otherwise, its actual rated capacity is a more modest 14,000mAh. Nonetheless, for those in need of a robust power bank with substantial charging capabilities, this might be a worthwhile option.
Design and Features
The standout feature of the Powerbank 25000 is its design. It sports a transparent front panel that allows a view of its internal components, including the charging ICs. The other three sides are finished in an opaque black with rounded edges to improve grip.
In terms of performance, the Powerbank 25000 212W is equipped with three USB ports (two USB-C and one USB-A), which together provide a maximum output of 212W. This enables the simultaneous charging of three devices at high speeds – up to 65W+27W+120W. Even with dual-port charging, it achieves impressive outputs of 65W+120W.
The single USB-C port (C1) stands out by supporting single-port Power Delivery 3.1 (PD 3.1) charging up to 140W, sufficient for powering a MacBook Pro.

The second USB-C port (C2) offers a maximum output of 45W, while the USB-A port provides 120W. Additionally, the power bank supports various fast-charging protocols, including QC 3.0, Samsung AFC, Huawei FCP, and Apple 2.4A.
Safety is a priority with high-wattage power banks, and Xiaomi assures that the Powerbank 25000 212W includes nine layers of security protection. Its 90.8Wh capacity is also compliant with airline carry-on regulations.

Available on the Youpin crowdfunding platform, the Xiaomi Powerbank 25000 212W is priced at 499 yuan (around USD 70). The crowdfunding initiative is scheduled to launch tomorrow. Currently, there is no information on the global release of the Xiaomi Powerbank 25000 212W.
