Xiaomi recently unveiled two new table lamps in China: the Mijia Table Lamp 2 and the Mijia Table Lamp 2 Lite. These lamps are aimed at providing a comfortable lighting experience for studying or working, all at an affordable price point. Let's delve into the specifications, features, and pricing details for both these innovative lamps.

Mijia Table Lamp 2

The Mijia Table Lamp 2 features a 60cm long head embedded with 112 LED beads. It boasts a "reading and writing AA-level photometric rating" and a "learning lamp AAAA-level certification" by CQC. This ensures that the lamp distributes light evenly, minimizing glare and reducing eye strain effectively.

With a high Ra97 color rendering index, this lamp accurately presents colors under its light source. A higher color rendering index signifies that colors appear more natural under artificial light compared to sunlight.

Moreover, the Xiaomi Mijia Table Lamp 2 integrates seamlessly with Xiaomi's smart home ecosystem powered by HyperOS. This connectivity allows users to control the lamp using voice commands or other devices within their smart home network.

Featuring an adjustable shaft, the lamp can be tilted backward and forward up to 25°, with the shaft enduring over 10,000 adjustments after rigorous testing.

The Mijia Table Lamp 2 is priced at 199 yuan (~$28) in China and can be purchased through JD.com.

Mijia Table Lamp 2 Lite

As its name suggests, the Mijia Table Lamp 2 Lite is a more budget-friendly option priced at just 79 yuan (~$11). Despite its affordability, this lamp offers impressive specifications.

The Lamp 2 Lite holds the same CQC AA photometric rating for uniform light distribution within a 30×50cm area and features a Ra90 color rendering index, ensuring decent color accuracy.

Equipped with a custom-made optical lens boasting 53% transmittance, the Lamp 2 Lite reduces eye irritation when gazing directly at the light source.

In terms of adjustability, this lamp provides three-axis linkage for the lamp head, pole, and base, facilitating multi-angle positioning based on individual preferences.

Safety features include an RG0 exemption level for blue light hazards, emitting minimal blue light to reduce eye strain and sleep disturbances. Additionally, the lamp is flicker-free, aiming to minimize eye fatigue effectively.
