Xiaomi, the Chinese technology powerhouse, has officially launched a new model of its e-scooter for the European market. Known as the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro (2nd Gen), this model was initially released in China in March 2024. Currently, it is being sold at a reduced price in Germany, with its availability expected soon in other European countries. Additionally, Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite (2nd Gen).

Features

The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro (2nd Gen) is a standing e-scooter that boasts several enhancements over its previous version. It features a more robust electric motor and an extended range, along with an integrated display. Initially listed on Xiaomi’s global website in March 2024, the European pricing for this model was revealed shortly after. The scooter comes with a peak power of 1,000W and a top speed capped at 25km/h, adhering to local regulations.

Users can select from three different modes, and the scooter is equipped with a 468Wh battery, offering a range of 60km. The central display on the handlebars shows the current speed and battery status. Additional features include 10-inch wide tires, automatic lights, and indicators. The scooter is built with a carbon steel frame and can be folded in half for convenient transportation.

Pricing and Availability

In Germany, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro (2nd Gen) is available at a special price of €499.99 ($540), down from its original price of €549.99 ($593). In the UK, the scooter is listed at £449.99 ($565). It has also appeared in product listings in France, Spain, and Sweden, though it is not yet available in these countries.
