Xiaomi Confirms Next T-Series Device Name, Launch Coming Soon

Xiaomi’s upcoming T-series smartphone, the Xiaomi 14T, appears to be nearing its release. Recently, it was spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification website. While the listing doesn't provide extensive details, it does confirm several key aspects.

The NBTC certification identifies the model number “2406APNFAG” as belonging to the standard Xiaomi 14T. It also indicates that the device will have 5G connectivity, a feature now common in most modern smartphones.

Previous Sightings and Certifications

This appearance on the NBTC website follows earlier sightings of the smartphone on other certification platforms, such as IMDA in Singapore and the Telecom Authority in Indonesia. Moreover, the 2406APNFAG model number has also been listed in the EEC certification database, hinting at a European launch for the Xiaomi 14T.

Specifications and Features

According to an earlier report, the Xiaomi 14T might be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8000 series chipset, likely the Dimensity 8100 or 8200. Additionally, there are speculations about the device supporting a 67W fast charging solution.

On the other hand, the Pro version of the Xiaomi 14T series has been recently listed on the Geekbench database, showcasing a more robust configuration. It is expected to feature the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC, along with 120W wired charging and wireless charging support. Remarkably, the Xiaomi 14T Pro could be the first model in the T-series to offer wireless charging.

Imminent Launch

While the NBTC certification doesn't disclose many specifics about the smartphone, its repeated appearances on certification sites suggest that the launch could be just around the corner.

We anticipate that the Xiaomi 14T series will show up on more certification platforms in the upcoming weeks, potentially revealing further details about its specifications and availability. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
