Xiaomi 15 Ultra Receives Global Certification Approval

Xiaomi is preparing to unveil its flagship smartphone series, the Xiaomi 15, soon. The Xiaomi 15 lineup will make its debut in China on October 23rd, while the Xiaomi 15 Ultra model is rumored to launch separately next year.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra Certification

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is anticipated to be introduced in China, Europe, and India, and it has recently obtained EEC certification. This signifies that the device is ready for release in Russia and other markets in Eurasia. It is expected to come equipped with a quad-camera setup, featuring an impressive 200MP telephoto lens that promises excellent zoom functionalities, including low-light telephoto and ultra-telephoto macro modes.

Camera and Sensor Details

The primary camera sensor on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to be a large sensor exceeding 1 inch, similar to the one found in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. This larger sensor is crucial for capturing high-quality images, particularly in low-light environments. Additionally, the 200MP telephoto lens is rumored to use Samsung’s HP3 sensor, potentially providing up to 10x optical zoom.

Performance and Specifications

For performance, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is likely to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, now referred to as Snapdragon 8 Elite. It may come with a maximum of 24GB of RAM. The phone is also expected to include a substantial 6,200mAh battery to ensure extended usage and will operate on HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is anticipated to feature a 2K display with micro-curvature on all four edges. Additionally, it may include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for easy and secure unlocking. Buyers will have the choice of three material finishes for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra: plain leather, fiberglass, or ceramic, catering to various tastes and styles.
