Vivo has announced that its X200 series smartphone will launch on October 14. Initially, the lineup will include at least two models: the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro. An Ultra version is expected to be added to the series in early 2025. Despite this timeline, information about the phone has already started to emerge through leaks.
Processor and Camera Insights
According to the reliable source Digital Chat Station, details about the processor and camera of the phone have been unveiled. The upcoming device will be equipped with the “SM8750” chip, which is known to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Regarding the camera setup, it is reported to feature a 200MP periscope lens.
The leak also includes information about three additional lenses, each boasting a resolution of 50MP. If these details pertain to the Vivo X200 Ultra, this indicates an upgrade in the camera configuration, moving from three lenses on the X100 Ultra to four lenses on the upcoming Ultra variant. Among the three 50MP cameras, one is expected to serve as the main module with a “fixed large aperture.” While the specifics of the other two lenses are not detailed, it is presumed that they will be an ultrawide lens and a telephoto lens.
Battery Specifications
In another leak released today, the source disclosed the battery specifications for the X200 series. The X200 Pro is anticipated to have the largest battery, featuring a 6000mAh capacity. There are rumors of a mid-range model, likely named the Vivo X200 Mini, which may include a 5700mAh battery, while the standard Vivo X200 is expected to come with a 5800mAh cell.
The majority of the Vivo X200 series will utilize MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9400 chipset, while the X200 Ultra is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. This model is also expected to feature a 2K 120Hz OLED display. Currently, further specifications for this phone remain unclear.
