Recent updates show that the Vivo X200 series is set to launch worldwide soon, after gaining approval in several markets. Malaysia appears to be one of the first locations to get the new series, as the company has begun promoting it there. Below is the official teaser shared by the brand.

Teaser for Vivo X200 Series in Malaysia

The teaser for the Vivo X200 series indicates that it will be “coming soon” to Malaysia. This hints at a possible launch within this month in the country. Recently, the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro were found in the database of Malaysia’s SIRIM certification platform, which adds to the anticipation.

Global Approvals and Models

Additionally, the Bluetooth SIG and certification platforms in places like India, Indonesia, and Europe have also given their approval for these devices. The Vivo X200 Pro Mini, a smaller flagship model, is included in the X200 series available in China. However, this Mini version hasn't shown up on certification platforms outside of China, suggesting it might stay exclusive to the domestic market. Specifications of Vivo X200 and X200 Pro

The Vivo X200 is equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED 8T LTPS micro-quad-curved display, offering a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 4500nits, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. Meanwhile, the Pro model features a slightly larger 6.78-inch OLED 8T LTPO micro-quad-curved screen with identical specifications, but it comes with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. Both phones are powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. The X200 has a 5,800mAh battery, while the Pro version includes a 6,000mAh battery. They both support 90W wired charging, with the Pro also offering 30W wireless charging.

For taking selfies, both the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro are equipped with a 32-megapixel Samsung S5KKD1 front camera. The standard model features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel LYT-600 3x periscope camera with OIS.

In contrast, the X200 Pro’s rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel LYT-818 main camera with OIS, a 200-megapixel Samsung S5KHP9 3.7x periscope lens with OIS, along with the same ultra-wide lens. The X200 series also offers features like FunTouch OS 15 based on Android 15, dual speakers, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster, an x-axis linear motor, a USB-C port (USB Gen 3.2 only on Pro), and an IP68/69-rated body.
