Vivo is set to unveil its much-awaited X200 series in Malaysia on November 19th, 2024. This announcement comes after recent rumors pointing to a launch on November 28th in Thailand and a release in India next month.
Models and Availability
The lineup is likely to feature two main models: the Vivo X200 and the X200 Pro. While the brand released a third variant, the Vivo X200 Pro mini, in China, it appears this model won't be available in international markets. The global versions of the X200 and X200 Pro are anticipated to have the same specifications as their Chinese counterparts.
Specifications Overview
The Vivo X200 boasts a 6.67-inch OLED screen, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The Pro version comes with a marginally larger 6.78-inch display with similar features, including an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor located beneath the screen for better security.
Both variants utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, along with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The X200 has a triple-camera system equipped with three 50MP lenses for wide, ultrawide, and 3x zoom photography. In contrast, the X200 Pro enhances the telephoto lens, now featuring a 200MP sensor that provides a 3.7x zoom for more detailed images.
Battery and Charging Features
The X200 is equipped with a 5,800mAh battery, and the Pro variant has a slightly larger 6,000mAh battery. Both models support 90W wired charging, while the Pro version also includes 30W wireless charging capabilities.
In other news, Vivo’s upcoming X200 Ultra smartphone, expected to launch next year, is rumored to sport a 1-inch main sensor. Moreover, the X200 Ultra is likely to feature a triple-camera system with a 200MP telephoto lens and a 1.4” sensor, alongside a 50MP ultrawide sensor. There are also talks that Vivo might incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and satellite connectivity into this model.
