The Vivo X200 series was recently introduced in China and is expected to be available worldwide soon. This information has been confirmed by Vivo's office in Malaysia, which has begun promoting the devices through its social media platforms in the country.
Models in the Lineup
The X200 series has three versions: the standard X200, the X200 Pro, and the X200 Pro mini. However, the teaser from Vivo Malaysia suggests that only the X200 and X200 Pro will be released in the country. This matches their recent listing in Malaysia’s SIRIM certification.
Rumors of an Indian Launch
There are also rumors that Vivo might introduce these models in India later this month. While Vivo hasn’t announced a specific date yet, tipster Paras Guglani has mentioned that the unveiling could happen on November 22nd. Guglani did not clarify which market might see the launch first, leaving it open for Malaysia, India, or other areas.
Specifications of the X200 and X200 Pro
On the specifications front, the Vivo X200 boasts a 6.67-inch OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 4500 nits. The Pro version features a slightly bigger 6.78-inch screen, keeping the same specs but adding an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor underneath the display.
Both models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Battery performance is also a highlight, as the X200 comes with a 5,800mAh battery, while the Pro model increases that to a 6,000mAh capacity. Both devices support 90W wired charging, with the Pro variant also offering 30W wireless charging.
Camera Features
When it comes to photography, both smartphones are equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The standard X200 has a triple-lens rear arrangement, which includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor, and a 50-megapixel LYT-600 3x periscope lens with OIS for capturing far-away shots.
The camera setup in the X200 Pro is even more advanced, featuring a 50-megapixel LYT-818 main sensor with OIS and an astonishing 200-megapixel Samsung S5KHP9 3.7x periscope lens, also with OIS. Both models have the same 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor for taking wide-angle photos.
We eagerly await Vivo's official news regarding the launch date and target regions for the X200 series. Keep an eye out for further information.
