Vivo X100s: First Real-Life Image Surfaces Before May Launch

Vivo is preparing to introduce a range of new smartphones under its X100 series, including the Vivo X100 Ultra, X100s Pro, and a standard X100s model. Recent leaks from GSMArena have provided a glimpse of the upcoming Vivo X100s design.

Design Details Revealed

The design of the X100s diverges from the curved aesthetics of the X100, featuring a flat frame with a textured finish. The back panel is crafted from glass, slightly curved (2.5D), and showcases a camera island with a distinct knurled ring design housing four cameras.

Camera and Display Features

Leaked information suggests that the camera setup of the X100s mirrors that of the X100, offering a 15-70mm zoom configuration with an ultrawide 15mm sensor, a 70mm periscope lens, and a primary 50MP f/1.6 sensor. The X100s is said to draw design cues from the iPhone 15 Pro, sporting a flat-edged display and a similar color palette while being slimmer at 7.89mm compared to the iPhone 15 Pro's 8.3mm.

Performance and Launch Details

Rumors point to the X100s being powered by the upcoming Dimensity 9300+ chipset, featuring a boosted clock speed for the main Cortex-X4 core. As for pricing, speculations indicate a potential alignment with the X100's price of CNY 3,999. The leaks also suggest a possible May launch for the X100s, in conjunction with the X100s Pro and X100s Ultra models.

These leaks offer an initial glimpse into what can be expected from Vivo's upcoming X100s series.
