Tipster suggests Oppo Find X7 Pro will not have an octagonal camera module

The Oppo Find X7 Pro, the next generation flagship smartphone from Oppo, is expected to launch in China soon. Earlier leaks had suggested that the phone would feature a large octagonal camera module, but a well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, has refuted these claims. According to the tipster, the Oppo Find X7 Pro will retain the circular camera module seen in its predecessor, the Find X6 Pro.

Design and Camera Details

Thanks to new design schematics, we now have a better idea of what the upcoming flagship phone will look like. The front of the phone will feature a center-aligned punch hole cutout for the selfie camera. On the rear, there will be a massive camera island that houses multiple camera sensors, as well as the Hasselblad branding. One of the key camera features of the Find X7 Pro is expected to be a 1-inch Sony LYT900 50-megapixel primary camera. This will be accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 50-megapixel periscopic telephoto shooters that offer 3x and 6x optical zoom, respectively.

Display and Other Features

The Oppo Find X7 Pro is rumored to feature a Samsung E7 or BOE AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and high refresh rate. The phone is also expected to offer satellite connectivity and be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
