Recently, Tecno introduced the POVA 6 Pro 5G smartphone in the Indian market, offering enticing deals for interested buyers. Expanding their lineup, the company has now unveiled two more devices within the POVA 6 series: the POVA 6 and POVA 6 Neo, which are now showcased on Tecno's official website. These two phones exhibit some notable distinctions between them.
Tecno POVA 6, POVA 6 Neo Unveiled
Both the Tecno POVA 6 and POVA 6 Neo share a similar aesthetic, featuring an LED light strip positioned on the right side of the camera modules. Internally, these smartphones are equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate chipset and operate on HiOS 14-based Android 14 OS right out of the box.
Similarities and Distinctions
The POVA 6 and 6 Neo boast a 6.78-inch display showcasing an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a centrally aligned punch-hole cutout. Additionally, they come with stereo speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos technology. Connectivity options include a USB-C port, Dual 4G VoLTE, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Setting them apart, the Tecno POVA 6 Neo exhibits a slightly thicker bottom chin in comparison to the POVA 6. The former incorporates an LCD panel with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, while the latter integrates an AMOLED display featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor. The standard model offers 8GB and 12GB RAM choices with 256GB storage, while the Neo variant provides 8GB RAM paired with 128GB and 256GB storage configurations.
In terms of camera capabilities, the POVA 6 sports a 108MP primary sensor, whereas the POVA 6 Neo presents a 50MP lens, each complemented by an AI secondary unit. For selfies, the standard and Neo models feature 32MP and 8MP front cameras, respectively. Power-wise, the Tecno POVA 6 is supported by a 6,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging support, while the Neo variant derives power from a 7,000mAh cell with 33W charging capabilities.
