POCO is gearing up to unveil its latest smartphone, the POCO X6 series, in the Indian market. A new teaser has been released, hinting at the chipset that will power the device.
POCO X6 to Feature Dimensity 8300 Ultra
According to an official post by POCO, the upcoming smartphone will debut with the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC. The company claims that this chipset will be the most powerful in its segment. For those unfamiliar, the Dimensity 8300 Ultra is comparable to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
Teaser Points to POCO X6 Lineup
Although the teaser does not explicitly mention that the Dimensity 8300 Ultra will be featured in the POCO X6, Himanshu Tandon, the head of POCO India, previously teased the X6 series. This suggests that the lineup, which was previously rumored to come with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, will indeed be equipped with the Dimensity 8300 Ultra. The POCO X6 5G has also been spotted on the TDRA and NBTC, and an FCC listing confirms that the X6 Pro will come in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB storage configurations.
Specifications of POCO X6 Pro
The POCO X6 Pro model is expected to feature a tall 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a large 5,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. The device will sport a triple camera setup with a 64-megapixel main sensor on the rear, while the front will house a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
