Now, the company has finally launched its next-generation Magic V6 book-style foldable smartphone in Malyasia and Singapore, marking the beginning of its global debut. Speaking of specs, the Magic V6 boasts an ultra-slim design, measuring just 8.75 mm (0.34 inch) when folded and 4 mm (0.15 inch) when unfolded and weighing around 219 grams (0.48 lbs). Honor’s latest book-style foldable smartphone comes as a direct successor to the Magic V5, which debuted last year. The smartphone brings notable upgrades over the last generation model. To be more precise, it is thinner, more powerful, and has a 13.4% bigger battery than the Magic V5.

    Battery, Processor & Camera Specifications

Despite boasting a slim design, the company has managed to squeeze in a large 6,600 mAh silicon-carbon battery into the foldable, which supports 80 W wired and 66 W wireless charging. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. • Vivo Confirms X200 Ultra, X300 Pro Compatibility with X300 Ultra

Vivo Confirms X200 Ultra, X300 Pro Compatibility with X300 Ultra

      Key Takeaways

      1. Vivo showcased the X300 Ultra at MWC 2026, featuring a new teleconverter accessory with two options: 2.35x and 4.7x zoom.
      2. The smaller teleconverter is less bulky and compatible with the X200 Ultra and X300 Pro smartphones.
      3. The X300 Ultra’s camera cage ensures compatibility with the X300 Pro and current 2.35x teleconverters, but compatibility with the new 4.7x teleconverter for older models is unclear.
      4. The device can record 4K/120 FPS videos in Dolby Vision and has optical image stabilization (OIS) on all rear cameras.
      5. The X300 Ultra supports 100 W wired charging globally, giving it a competitive advantage over the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Vivo is still highlighting the X300 Ultra this week at MWC 2026 in Barcelona. The company initially shared a teaser video that focused on the device’s sophisticated teleconverter accessory. Shortly after, Ben Sin released a brief hands-on video, offering more insights about the accessory’s 400 mm lens.

      Teleconverter Details

Sadly, previous statements about the teleconverter including a dual lens setup were wrong. Instead, Vivo is presenting two teleconverters at MWC 2026: one that provides 2.35x zoom, and another that delivers 4.7x zoom. The smaller one is less bulky compared to the teleconverters Vivo offers for the X200 Ultra and X300 Pro, but it should still be compatible with both of those smartphones.

      Cross-Compatibility Features

The camera cage of the X300 Ultra ensures compatibility with the X300 Pro too, as shown in an image below. Furthermore, the X300 Ultra can also work with current 2.35x teleconverters. However, it is still not clear if Vivo’s new 4.7x teleconverter will function with the X200 Ultra or X300 Pro at this moment.

      Video Capabilities and Charging

Putting that aside, Vivo has confirmed that the X300 Ultra is able to record 4K/120 FPS videos in Dolby Vision and 10-bit D-Log. The company has also equipped all rear cameras with optical image stabilization (OIS), similar to the X200 Ultra before it, and this matches the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which is currently priced at $1,299 on Amazon. TÜV Rheinland has also verified that the X300 Ultra supports 100 W wired charging globally, giving Vivo’s upcoming flagship an edge over Samsung’s counterpart. As of now, a specific release date is still not known.

Last week, Motorola hinted at unveiling the Razr Fold at MWC 2026 in Barcelona. This launch is set to coincide with the announcement of Honor’s Magic V6, which has already generated excitement. Although the Razr Fold was initially expected to debut this summer, Motorola has shared more information regarding the device than Honor has about the Magic V6.

      Pricing and Availability

According to Motorola, the Razr Fold will be priced at €1,999 in the Eurozone, including VAT, which is approximately $2,345. The company has also indicated that this innovative book-style foldable will be available in regions such as Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and North America. This means that the Razr Fold is set to compete directly with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and the Galaxy Z Fold7, both currently priced at $1,999 on Amazon.

      Specifications Unveiled

Sadly, Motorola has only provided a vague timeline, stating that the Razr Fold will be available “in the coming months.” In the meantime, they have confirmed several important specifications, including a robust 6,000 mAh battery that supports both 50 W wireless and 80 W wired charging. Additionally, the Razr Fold is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which has shown promising performance in early tests.

Lenovo recently unveiled an interesting concept device at MWC 2026, which takes inspiration from the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential. This device, known as the Lenovo AI Work Companion Concept, has a trapezoidal shape that may look like a desk clock, however, it offers much more than just telling time.

      Features and Functions

Equipped with a screen, the Lenovo AI Work Companion Concept shows a user’s calendar, including tasks and appointments, when linked to their devices. Additionally, it tracks the amount of time a user spends on their screen and recommends breaks, making it a tool for digital well-being. Lenovo claims it will even generate a comprehensive report of tasks completed at the end of each week.

      Customization and Connectivity

At the top of the device is a large red knob that Lenovo states can be personalized. While they didn’t provide specific examples, we think it will likely function as a volume control. There’s also a button on the far right that can be customized to suit user preferences.

This device also acts as a hub, featuring multiple ports on the back, including two HDMI ports for dual display connections, two USB-A ports (7.5W max), two USB-C ports (7.5W max), and an ethernet port. It will also show extra information, like the battery level of a connected laptop and how long it will take to fully charge. Moreover, there is a quick action menu featuring icons for applications such as the calculator, email, and ChatGPT, as well as functions like cut, paste, and microphone mute.

As of now, there’s no information available about a potential commercial release for the Lenovo AI Work Companion Concept, but many would agree that it appears to be a quite handy gadget.

    • Honor Robot Phone: AI Buddy and Robotic Camera for Daily Use

Honor Robot Phone: AI Buddy and Robotic Camera for Daily Use

      Key Takeaways

      1. Honor unveiled the innovative Honor Robot Phone with an integrated AI companion at MWC 2026 in Barcelona.
      2. The phone features a unique gimbal camera system that tracks users and exhibits expressive behaviors, enhancing filming experiences.
      3. Advanced gimbal technology with smaller micro motors ensures stable footage and includes a Spinshot feature for dynamic shots.
      4. The device includes AI editing tools to simplify video production tasks.
      5. The Honor Robot Phone will not be available in the US due to national security concerns, although Honor continues to develop its features.

Honor has unveiled its innovative Honor Robot Phone featuring an integrated AI companion during MWC 2026 in Barcelona. This AI is aimed at serving as a daily device, complete with an on-screen avatar and a sophisticated 3-axis gimbal camera system that can display detailed body language through its movements. The AI companion interacts with users, offering a fresh approach to smartphone engagement, in addition to Honor’s humanoid prototype.

      Unique Camera Design

The Robot Phone features a gimbal camera cleverly concealed behind a sliding cover on the backside. This design element protects the camera from potential damage while stored in bags or pockets. When the camera is in use, it employs a variety of AI-enhanced capabilities to track and engage with people, ensuring dynamic filming experiences.

The AI subject tracking allows the onboard AI companion to detect and follow individuals as they move, whether during conversations or while recording. Thanks to its advanced control of the robotic camera, the AI can exhibit expressive behaviors, such as dancing to music or nodding in agreement during discussions.

      Advanced Gimbal Technology

This gimbal employs micro motors that are 70% smaller than those typically found in competitor devices, providing swift responses that guarantee stable footage while moving or utilizing the AI Spinshot feature. This feature can automatically execute pan shots over a 180-degree range or tilt shots up to 90 degrees. Although it’s technically feasible to capture long-exposure astrophotography without star blur, Honor has not confirmed this feature as it is still in the process of finalizing specifications.

The 200 MP camera delivers videos with an enhanced cinematic quality, incorporating ARRI Image Science. This technology offers images with “natural colors, soft highlight transitions, and a depth that feels true to storytelling,” according to Dr. Benedikt von Lindeiner, VP at ARRI. ARRI digital film cameras are known for their exceptional image quality, having been used in numerous Hollywood hits, including Skyfall.

      AI Editing Features

To simplify the often tedious task of video production, the phone is equipped with an AI video editor and a shooting assistant powered by AI.

Honor aims to launch the Robot Phone in the latter half of 2026, with features still being developed and potentially adjustable. Due to ongoing restrictions on products from Huawei and its former subsidiary Honor, citing national security concerns, the Honor Robot Phone will not be available in the US, unlike many devices from competitors like OnePlus, which can be found on Amazon.

At MWC 2026, Honor also presented its humanoid Honor Robot prototype, which was demonstrated performing dance moves and backflips. While specifics remain scarce, the Honor Robot is intended for daily companionship, shopping help, and workplace inspections, aligning with the company’s Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI) vision to weave AI into everyday life.

    • Honor Announces Limited Global Availability for New Ultra-Premium Foldable

Honor Announces Limited Global Availability for New Ultra-Premium Foldable

      Key Takeaways

      1. Honor and Xiaomi are the first companies to unveil new devices ahead of MWC 2026.
      2. Honor launched the Magic V6 foldable smartphone globally before its release in China, but a specific market release date is unclear.
      3. Xiaomi introduced multiple devices, including the Xiaomi 17 and Leica Leitzphone, which are already available worldwide.
      4. Honor plans to fill the market gap with the Magic V6 before competitors like Oppo release their new models.
      5. The global availability of the Magic V6 is set for the latter half of the year, with pricing details yet to be announced.

Honor and Xiaomi are the first companies to showcase their smartphones, tablets, and other devices ahead of MWC 2026. Just yesterday, Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, and the Leica Leitzphone, along with two new tablets aimed at international customers. Today, Honor has unveiled the Magic V6 and MagicPad 4, details of which we have discussed in a separate article.

Global Unveiling of the Magic V6

In a surprising turn, Honor has chosen to launch its new foldable smartphone worldwide before its release in China. However, this unveiling does not clarify when the Magic V6 will actually hit the market. For reference, Xiaomi is already offering the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, and Leica Leitzphone globally, competing against Samsung’s latest models, including the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra (currently priced at $1,299 on Amazon).

      Market Timing and Competition

Unlike the expected summer or early autumn launch dates for the Galaxy Z Fold8, Pixel 11 Pro Fold, and iPhone Fold, it appears Honor is aiming to occupy this market gap with the Magic V6 before Oppo releases the Find N6 later this month. Honor has confirmed that the Magic V6 will be available in China this month as well.

Unfortunately, Honor has also stated that the Magic V6 will not be available worldwide until the latter half of the year. In essence, even though the device was presented today in Barcelona, there are no plans for a global release until July. Therefore, the pricing for the Magic V6 internationally is still not known. For more information on the Magic V6 and how it compares to last year’s Magic V5, please refer to the table below and our launch article for technical specifications.
