    Lava Blaze X Leak: Dimensity 7050 & up to 256GB Storage

    According to a YTECHB report, Lava is bringing back the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. Lava had launched the Blaze Curve with this chip in March, and it will now be featured in the Blaze X as well. While the processor isn’t top-tier, it is sufficient for daily tasks. The smartphone is expected to be priced under 20,000 INR, making it a budget mid-range option.

    The chipset will be paired with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Lava has previously confirmed RAM options of 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB. It is likely that the 4GB and 6GB RAM variants will come with 128GB of storage, while the 8GB RAM option will be paired with 256GB of storage. Additionally, the phone will support virtual RAM expansion of up to 8GB. The device is scheduled to launch on 10th July 2024 via Amazon India, with offline availability expected sometime in August.

    Additional Features and Availability

    Other reports suggest that the Blaze X will be the most affordable G phone featuring a curved AMOLED display. The phone will be available in Dark Violet and Gray color options.     IP69 is the highest protection level against solids and liquids, designed to function in extreme conditions, including frequent exposure to water, dust, and debris. Additionally, the devices can be submerged underwater for extended periods. The front is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, capable of surviving a 3-foot drop onto hard surfaces like concrete and up to 6.5 feet onto surfaces like asphalt.

    Under the hood, the Oppo F27 Pro+ is expected to house the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, launched in May 2023. The chip will be paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

    The OPPO F27 Pro+ has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, BIS certification website, and Camera FV-5 database. On the first two websites, it is listed with model number CPH2643. The BIS listing does not disclose any key details.

    According to Geekbench, the OPPO F27 Pro+ features a motherboard codenamed k6877va_64_k419 with six cores clocked at 2GHz and two cores at 2.60GHz, suggesting it will be powered by a Dimensity 7050 processor. The device will include 8GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 OS out of the box. In the benchmarking platform’s single-core and multi-core tests, the smartphone scores 886 and 2,305 points, respectively.

    The company is gearing up to unveil the Blaze Curve in India on March 5. Now, the device was spotted on the BIS certification (Bureau of Indian Standards) carrying the model number LXX505. This model number also surfaced on the Google Play Console listing, which also featured an image of the Lava Blaze Curve’s front side.

    As the name suggests, we can see the upcoming smartphone features a curved AMOLED display on the front. The curved screen is for the sides, while the selfie camera is housed in a center aligned punch hole cutout. The Google Play Console listed the device with the MT6877 processor, which is a MediaTek processor.
