As per a recent leak, the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is anticipated to debut on June 24. This information, shared by source MysteryLupin on platform X (formerly Twitter), comes a few weeks before the Galaxy Watch 7/X series release. Interestingly, the watch was recently leaked on its Amazon Page after being prematurely listed. You can read more about that here.
Pricing and Specifications
The watch is expected to be priced at 199 Euros at launch. The “FE” stands for Fan Edition, a special line of products that Samsung offers to cater to their fans. This marks the first time Samsung is launching an FE version for the Galaxy Watch series. Previous leaks indicate that the Galaxy Watch FE will come in three color options: black, silver, and pink gold, all priced at 199 Euros (approximately 1,565 Yuan, or $215).
Features and Hardware
Expected to be an entry-level wearable, the Galaxy Watch FE is rumored to draw heavily from the existing Galaxy Watch 4, potentially even including a cellular data version. The watch is anticipated to feature a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 396 x 396 pixels. Internally, it might be powered by an Exynos W920 dual-core 1.18GHz processor, paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Battery life is expected to be around 30 hours, thanks to the 247mAh battery. The software is likely to be Samsung One UI Watch 5.0 based on Wear OS.
Sensor and Software
In terms of sensors, the Galaxy Watch FE might include an accelerometer, barometer, bioimpedance analysis, ECG sensor, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, brightness sensor, and optical heart rate sensor.
